Aneros MGX Trident Review
My Verdict
The Aneros MGX Trident is an excellent addition to any prostate massager lineup. Used in conjunction with a more beginner-friendly model like the Helix or Eupho Trident, the MGX can help kickstart waking your prostate, making your journey to prostate pleasure a little quicker. The MGX Trident is also a great choice to use during sex. Its targeted prostate massage and ribbed stem add great sensations to thrusting and the pressure on the prostate during orgasm really heightens the intensity.

About The Aneros MGX Trident
The Aneros MGX Trident is a hands-free prostate massager that's a little more aggressive than the rest of the Aneros lineup. Its ribbed stem and forward bend allow your muscles to really grab the device and deliver targeted pressure to the prostate. If you're looking for the next step up from the Helix or Eupho Trident, the MGX may be exactly what you are looking for.

Personal Experience
Personally, I enjoy each and every one of the devices offered by Aneros. When I was getting started with them, I didn’t feel much from the Helix Trident so I jumped to the Progasm. This gave me the pressure I was looking for but I lost the movement of the smaller device. Then I tried the MGX Trident. Immediately upon insertion, I knew I had a winner. The toy nestled in and went right to work on my prostate.
Waking Up
Most beginners to prostate massage will comment on how they don’t feel anything at first. This leads some of us to go chasing after the “right” toy. In reality, our bodies just need to learn to feel the pleasure, a process referred to as waking the prostate. The Aneros MGX Trident is the device that did that for me. I struggled to feel anything from the Helix Trident before using the MGX. After a few uses of the MGX, I was able to get tons of pleasure out of each of my Aneros toys.Take It Slow
In my excitement to finally be feeling some pleasure from prostate massage, I overdid it with the MGX Trident the first few times. It is very easy to put too much pressure on the prostate with the MGX, which definitely lead to soreness.Use With Sex
One really nice aspect of the Aneros MGX Trident is that it feels secure when inserted. Some of the other Aneros Trident models feel like they want to work their way out during sex, especially during ejaculation. And some, like the older Progasm model, absolutely will shoot out, which can ruin orgasm for you. The MGX Trident feels solid, allowing you to enjoy the sensations right through climax.Design
The Aneros MGX Trident evolved from the therapeutic designs of High Island Health's prostate massagers. These devices were made to target the prostate for aggressive massage to clear out fluids and promote healing. The Trident series is tailored more to pleasure from prostate massage and the MGX is the most aggressive shape in the lineup. The MGX also features a wider spacing between the tabs that rest outside with the device inserted (K and P tabs) than most of Aneros' other models.
Ease of Use
Overall, the Aneros MGX Trident is very easy to use. It's small enough to insert easily and cleanup is very straightforward. While it is easy for beginners to use, personally I wouldn't recommend this as a first massager due to the higher pressure it exerts on the prostate. First-time users may get sore before realizing the benefits and pleasure of prostate massage.
Quality
All of Aneros' devices are made of high-quality body-safe materials. The MGX Trident is no exception. The plastic is smooth, easy to clean, and compatible with pretty much any type of lube. The shape of the MGX Trident is well thought out and based on anatomical contours. Overall, the MGX is a very well designed and executed prostate toy.
Price
The Aneros MGX Trident usually sells for around $55, putting it right in the middle of the prostate massager price range. For the quality and function, however, the MGX Trident is well worth its price. If taken care of properly, this little tool will be with you for a long time.
Performance
The Aneros MGX Trident's performance is amazing. Once you have "rewired" with another model like the Helix Trident, the MGX is an awesome next step. The shape targets the prostate and the ribs on the stem really allow your sphincter to get a good grip and press the device in. When relaxed, the ribs will stimulate the sphincter and help get the involuntary contractions going.
Packaging
Packaging for the MGX Trident is very simple and elegant. The cardboard box it comes in is about the size of a thick paperback novel with the MGX nestled inside a form-fitting piece of vacuum-formed plastic. The box is held shut by a magnetic flap and makes for a convenient place to store the MGX when not in use. Taking the plastic insert out will allow 4-5 Aneros massagers (or other toys) to be stored in one box.
Materials and care
The Aneros MGX Trident is made entirely of a white body-safe ABS plastic. It is durable and cleans easily. Before and after each session, just wash the MGX with warm water and soap. I prefer non-moisturizing bar soap since this leaves no residue on the plastic.
