Why I Chose It
If you have been following my writing for a while, you will know that I am one of System JOs’ biggest fans! I love their range of lubes, the quality and the overall performance. The System JO warming lube is no exception and fits in nicely with the high competition that JO is providing in the lube market. I really loved it – It is thick enough to coat even the largest of sex toys, as well as warming up to a reasonably hot temperature. It doesn’t get too hot, which makes it perfect for beginner users who want to test the (hot) water!
The packaging is eye-catching and attractive, as well as being a great sized bottle to fit in my hand. I hate lubes that I have to think about and re-apply, so this one was great, as I really trusted it to last as long as I did. When it comes to using warming lubes, I find they work best when using it with a partner, as 2 bodies can create the friction, stimulating you both. For clitoris owners, I would highly recommend using it on the clit to provide more intense stimulation. For penis owners, a warming lube is great for personal masturbation as the warmth makes it feel more realistic like having PIV sex!
This lube had to be my ‘Test Winning’ lube, as it has all the features of a great all rounder. It is FDA approved and has a pH balance of 6, meaning that is is more acidic than alkali. This is great for vulva owners, as it attempts to match a vulva’s natural pH, therefore reducing the risk of infections! This has to be a lube you have stocked up in your bedside draw!
Best for Beginners Fleshlube Warming Lube
- Less intense warming lube
- pH 6 – acidic
- Thin viscosity
Specifications
Pros

Cons
- ❌ Not great for vigorous activities
- ❌ Not the longest lasting lube
- ❌ Only reaches 'warm'
Why I Chose It
If you are looking for a warm temperature lube, that doesn’t heat up to an intense temperature, as well as being a pretty basic lube, then the Fleshlube Fire is a product I would highly recommend. The Fleshlube Fire is a water-based lubricant that is thin and watery, and has amore oily/greasy feeling when it is on the skin. It warming feature is activated by friction, so it would be great to use during foreplay with a partner.
I would recommend this warming lube to beginners, as I think it is a great introductory temperature lube, that doesn’t have too many features that would overwhelm a first time user. I would also only recommend using it for personal masturbation or with a partner during foreplay, as it is not the thickest lube on the market, so I wouldn’t recommend it for rigorous sexual activity, like anal for example. I also have suggested to use it for foreplay as it tends to dry out quicker than a silicone lube, meaning that it doesn’t last long without reapplication.
With Fleshlube’s fun packaging and compatibility with all sex toy and condom materials, it’s a great lube that adds a little more excitement to your bedroom fun!

Why I Chose It
If you’re looking for a lube that does it all; coats sex toys, warms you up AND tastes good, then this is your lucky day. Make it feel like Christmas every day, with this tasty cinnamon lube! Most warming lubes are used so you can feel the heat, but this lube had a special feature of taste to the mix. Using this lube for oral is going to make your mouth feel numb and warm, so that both you and your partner can feel the benefits.
I love the way it is so thick and coating on the skin and on sex toys, it really lasts for a long time and you don’t have to re-apply often! The warming features on this lube are quite intense, so if you were looking for something a little less warm, then I would recommend the Fleshlube Fire instead. The faster and harder the lube is rubbed into the skin, the warmer it is going to feel – thats why this would be great for both vulva and penis owners, during masturbation.
Despite being compatible with all sex toy materials, I wouldn’t recommend it for anal toys as the lube becomes slightly sticky when too much friction occurs. When using a lube for anal, you want it to be thick and cushioning, but also that it stays wet and slippery, so that you still remain comfortable. I would however certainly recommend this lube for foreplay and getting sex started, as the increased temperature is going to make sensitive areas even more aroused and the nerve ending heightened, therefore hopefully allowing you to reach an orgasm faster!

Why I Chose It
Feeling hot hot hot! This fiery lube will be sure to make you feeling hot under the collar – I loved it! It is a thick lube that definitely coats toys and cushions. It feels hot on the skin which is exciting and more stimulating than other, more basic lubes, which I loved, especially as someone who enjoys temperature play! If you’re someone who doesn’t like intense heat, then maybe start of with a lube that doesn’t get too warm, like the Fleshlube Fire.
The Intimate Earth bottle designs are also some of my favourite! I know what you’re thinking, “But Katie, ,what about the System JO bottles!?” I say, I can have more than one favourite! The Intimate Earth bottles are just so eye-catching and really scream luxury to me, due to the designs and font, as well as the colours and the physical quality of the plastic that is used for the bottle. For me, packaging is a big selling point! It’s one of the pricer lubes on the market, but I think it is worth it. One of my favourite warming lubes of all time!
This lube has a neutral pH reading of 7, which is excellent for both penis and vagina owners, as it is less likely to throw off natural pH levels.

Comparing the most important features
This table highlights and compares the features of the 4 Best Warming lubes. I have highlighted what I think are the most influential features when it comes to buying a lube:
Thickness: The thickness of lube is up to you and how you like it, with most choosing a thin lube if they want it to feel natural and less synthetic, with others opting for a thicker lube for more vigorous activities like anal sex. A thicker lube would typically get warmer, quicker, as it takes longer to dry out therefore maintaining the friction for longer.
Price: Price often varies with lubes, depending on their qualities and ingredients. The cheaper lubes tend to be water-based, and more expensive lubes are either silicone, hybrid or have organic ingredients. If you have a bigger wallet and want something a little hotter, then I would definitely recommend the Intimate Earth Melt warming lube – it will definitely warm you up!
Warming intensity: All of these warming lubes have different warming intensities; some of them heating up to a high temperature, really allowing you to explore temperature play whereas some warm to a medium temperature, heightening sensitivity and arousal. If you have never tried a temperature lube before, I would recommend a low intensity temperature lube, that doesn’t become too heated and overwhelm you!
This table shows the results of the tests I carried out on all the Silicone based lubes. I have compared all of their features in this table:
