Bijoux Indiscrets MAZE H Harness Review

Personal Experience

This was my first body harness, and let me tell you, it’s made me want to go out and buy more immediately. I often have trouble feeling sexy or sensual in my body, and lingerie can sometimes hinder more than help, squeezing me in ways I don’t want to be squeezed and highlighting things I’d rather not have highlighted! I was worried this harness would do the same thing, but very surprisingly to me, it was the exact opposite. As soon as I put it on, I felt that little extra bit more confident and sexy. I went to surprise my partner immediately, and he, while usually a man of few words, had quite a few nice things to say about it. Apart from how it makes me look and feel, I also love that the design leaves the breasts and nipples open to be played with!

A Few Fit Issues

Design

I love the design of this harness. It's simple, but I love how it frames the breasts and has that extra kinky touch thanks to the collar. As I mentioned, I do wish that it was a bit more adjustable, but I appreciate the strap extenders.

Ease of Use

I was surprised by how easy it was to put on by myself. It took a few minutes for me to adjust it to the right size, and to figure out how to attach the strap extender, but since I didn't have to do up any buckles at the back, it was still very doable without help. That was extra nice because I could then surprise my partner with it on!

Quality

This is a beautiful, high-quality accessory. The materials feel great and the construction is solid — I couldn't find any frayed or unfinished ends. However, I can't give it full marks for quality because it is made of plastic, which will degrade fairly quickly, no matter how well you take care of it.

Price

At $67, the MAZE H Harness is a bit more pricey than many other chest harnesses available. You can find some that are more expensive, but those are usually real leather instead of faux leather. However, I do believe that this harness is higher quality than lots of cheaper ones out there. I am actively considering buying another one from the brand, but the price does make me a little hesitant!

Performance

Despite the slight fit issues, this Bijoux Indiscrets harness still did exactly what I wanted it to. It made me feel sexy and spicy in all the right ways, and the reaction from my partner made it 100% worth it! It seems like online reviewers feel similarly, since it has 23 5-star reviews on their website (out of 26 total!).

Packaging

This harness comes in a luxurious black gift box with a subtle pattern on the top and gold lettering. Once you open it up, the harness is neatly wrapped up in black tissue paper with a gold sticker — it's such a nice touch and a change from most other BDSM items I've seen that come in a clear plastic bag with nothing else!

Materials and care

The H Harness is made from what Bijoux Indiscrets call vegan leather, but is also called faux leather or PU leather. It's made from polyurethane, or plastic. I have mixed feelings about that — I don't avoid animal products in my everyday life, though I know some people who do much prefer this over real leather, but plastic 'leather' also breaks down a lot faster than real leather and is less supple and flexible. It does require less maintenance than real leather, however, and is easily cleaned with a damp cloth and soap.
