To be honest, I don’t quite remember why or how I ended up with the Bondage Boutique Beginner’s Ball Gag, nor why I hadn’t reviewed it until now. However, I found it amongst my boxes of review treasures and knew I had better let you all know all about tis incredible little must-have for any beginner who wants to role play.
The Price Will Wow You
The best thing about the Bondage Boutique Beginner’s Ball Gag is that the price is unbelievable! Better yet, if you are just dipping your toes in the BDSM pond, you won’t feel at all guilty tossing this toy if you decide using a gag just isn’t your thing. However, it’s such a nice ball gag, you may want to wash it up and pack it away…. just in case you change your mind.Perfect Fit
I love the fact that the Bondage Boutique Beginner’s Ball Gag features an adjustable strap that’s so simple to buckle that I could do it myself. You see, the strap slips through both metal D-rings, then back through one, for a snug and easy-to-remove fit. And, in case of emergency, the nylon strap can easily be cut with a pair of scissors. However, the D-ring closure is so extremely easy to operate, that I doubt you’d ever have a problem removing the ball gag, even in a hurry.Zero Discomfort
The main issue I have had with ball gags are the size of the ball and jaw aches. You see, I have a little bit of TMJ going on, therefore, anything but a small ball makes my jaws ache like crazy. But the Bondage Boutique Beginner’s Ball Gag fit in my mouth, behind my teeth beautifully, Not only that, I had room to breath around the smaller ball and it’s a rubbery silicone that’s quite comfortable. The design of the Bondage Boutique Beginner's Ball Gag is very simple. Because of that, it's extremely comfortable, easy to put on and take off, and washes up beautifully. The silicone ball is comfortable in the mouth and is small enough that it doesn't cause your jaw to cramp up, even after an extended period of time. However, the strap could be a little wider, so it stays in place better.
Ease of Use
I have used several different types of ball gags, and I must say the Bondage Boutique Beginner's Ball Gag was the only one I was able to put on, clasp and remove without assistance. The D-rings allow the strap to slide through easily, therefore, I was able to put it on, behind my head, without my arms getting tired or my fingers cramping up. Best yet, I didn't have to call someone into the room to help me fasten it. I cannot recommend this gag enough for beginners or those who prefer smaller balls.
Quality
The Bondage Boutique Beginner's Ball Gag is well-made with a shiny, silicone ball, silky-soft nylon strap and metal D-rings. Overall, it's comfortable, body-safe, and easy to keep clean.
Price
This one is cheap, but in the best way possible! The Beginner's Ball Gag by Bondage Boutique is made with quality materials, which are comfortable and clean up well. However, the price is that of a far lesser quality product, so you are getting MORE for the little money you spend.
Performance
The only issue I had with the Beginner's Ball Gag was that the narrow, silky strap slid down easily. However, it was simply remedied by placing the strap higher on my head and behind my ears. Otherwise, the small ball was extremely comfortable and fit easily behind my teeth without creating the gagging sensation. Additionally, there's enough room around the ball for air to move. Therefore, not having holes in the ball wasn't an issue.
Packaging
The packaging of the beginner's Ball Gag by Bondage Boutique was beyond simple, as it consisted of a clear, plastic bag, with the brand seal on it. So, if you're someone who likes to keep your toys in the package, be sure and slit the bag across the top, so you can reuse it. Otherwise, the packaging is a throw-away.
Materials and care
The materials are extremely easy to clean and care for, unlike some other types of ball gags. That's because the nylon strap can be hand washed with soap and water, or even thrown into the washing machine. Furthermore, the silicone ball can be washed in soap and hot water, or even boiled, if you wish. Sure, leather ball gags may look sexy, but keeping them clean and sanitized isn't as easy. That's why I love this Beginner's Ball Gag!
