Personal Experience
First Impressions
When I first received the Booty Sparks Heart Gem plug, I appreciated how it was shipped discreetly. Once out of the box, it was nice and lightweight, and the shade of red for the heart gem was eye-catching. What a pretty shade of red! This glass anal plug is perfect for hot or cold play, as it holds the temperatures very well. Simply place it in a bowl of warm (not hot!) or cool water for a minute or two, and then get to playing around with it!What Worked
I like the fact that the plug is made of glass. It doesn’t take much lube to insert, which makes it glide in seamlessly with very little effort. It only took a little drop of lube to insert, and you can use whichever kind of lube you prefer, be it water-, silicone- or oil-based. This plug provides the ideal sensation you look for in an anal plug.Design
The Booty Sparks Heart Gem butt plug is nicely designed. It's lightweight and made of clear glass, so you're able to see if there are cracks or imperfections without having to deal with colored glass. However, I wish that the heart had better glue or something of the sort to ensure the heart isn't going to fall out when you drop it.
Ease of Use
I found this toy very straightforward, and not at all challenging to use. I just wouldn't try and insert it without lube!
Quality
This plug is very reliable and sturdy. It's made from thick borosilicate glass, the same heat-resistant glass as Pyrex, which makes it a good quality toy. However, since the gem fell out of my plug, I do have to deduct some points here.
Price
At around $20, I think this is correctly priced for the item. It's pretty great quality and has a little bit of bling to boot! However, for your money, you don't get any extras like a storage bag.
Performance
This product exhibited everything the box stated. It was simple and fun to use, and very easy to insert with just a small amount of lube. Since it's made of glass, it provides firmer stimulation than you'd experience with a silicone toy.
Packaging
The Booty Sparks plug comes in a cute little box, with the anal plug image on the front. I do think the packaging is very wordy, however. Perhaps a set of instructions should be added inside the box instead, so that a new tester isn't overwhelmed with the text on the box itself.
Materials and care
This plug is made from tough borosilicate glass with plastic gemstone stuck onto the end. The material is body-safe, high-quality and also waterproof. You should always clean the plug before and after use — I used hot water and sex toy cleaner, letting the plug sit in the cleaner and then rinsing in hot water. Then, I let it air-dry on a towel. To sanitize it, I've boiled it on the stove for 3 minutes to kill any bacteria left on the surface.
