Clone-a-Pussy Kit Review
My Verdict
I had high hopes for this kit and assumed the result would be much better than the Clone-a-Willy as it didn't require any kind of erectile skills. The mold itself picked up an impressive amount of detail. However the finished item, it was a bit of a disaster, as there wasn't enough silicone to fill the cast or capture the whole vulva in all it's glory.

Personal Experience
Oh How the Tables Have Turned
Having just completed with Clone-A-Willy Glow in the Dark with my partner with some level of success, I was hoping that the Clone-A-Pussy would be much easier as it didn’t require a sustained erection! While this was true, the result didn’t quite live up to my expectations. As I unpacked the box, at it dawned on my that I would shortly be sticking a scoop full of goo in my most intimate area, I suddenly understood how my boyfriend had felt!A Magnificent Mold
I was actually pretty excited to have a model of my vulva, more as a way of appreciating it’s unique beauty and the beauty of vulvas in general more than anything. This made me pretty determined to get it right and I felt the pressure of only having one shot. Once the alginate was mixed and poured into the scoop, I tried my best to get the perfect position, following the instructions to “press the scoop against your vulva” and “keep the scoop level with the ground.” Not an easy feat and definitely not a sexy one, I might add. When I removed the mold, I was really impressed by just how much detail it had picked up, and I was excited to pour in the silicone. I did notice however, that the mold at the top of the vulva, where the clitoris is, stuck out higher than the scoop, which I thought was going to be an issue. Not the Clone A Pussy Result I Was Hoping For
To try and compensate for the mold being higher than the container, I made a strip of cardboard to slot around the sides and add a little height — a fix that I think could have worked, had there been enough silicone. Unfortunately, when I poured in the silicone, there wasn’t enough to fill the mold and the mixture just pooled in the bottom of the labia, leaving the top without any coverage. I tried everything I could think of — propping it up at an angle, spooning the mixture over the top as it set, but it just didn’t work. I was left with a great mold of the lower half of my vulva but not the top, which is the most interesting part! I have to admit that I was pretty sad that I didn’t get the empowering mold I was hoping for.Could It Be Saved?
I think the mold and cardboard fix could work if I were to purchase more silicone mix but that’s quite a lot to pay when the outcome is uncertain. Also after a 4 days the mold began to dry out and shrink, so if you want to reuse your mold, I recommend getting hold of the silicone as quickly as you can. Also, if you are looking to make a Clone-A-Pussy as a gift for a penis owning partner and want something they can actually use, the Clone-A-Pussy Plus + kit comes with a masturbator sleeve to attach to your clone a pussy!Design
Although I'm not usually a hot pink kinda gal, I actually quite like the design of the Clone-A-Pussy! It's fun and had it worked, I probably would have made it into a fridge magnet or put it in a frame somewhere. Unfortunately, as it is, I don't think it earned a place on display. I also appreciate that you can get the kit in three different colors.
Ease of Use
I would say the kit is relatively easy to use. However, there is a lot of room for user error and you only get one shot. In my case, I think I pushed the scoop too hard against my vulva or maybe held my legs open slightly too much. Although this gave really great definition in the mold, it ended up protruding too far out of the container and there wasn't enough silicone mixture. The instructions say that if you don't have enough silicone to fill your mold, you can visit cloneapussy.com to find an easy fix using duct tape. However that website just redirects to the cloneawilly website and I couldn't find any further instructions.
Quality
I think the quality of the kit is fine but not great. I was a bit disappointed that, unlike the Clone-A-Willy Kit, the Clone-A-Pussy kit didn't come with a small thermometer, even though you need to use 90° water to mix the alginate.
Price
If the kit had worked for me, I think I would have been happy with the price. However, over $30 is too much for the results I got. It's also a little bit disappointing that the silicone refills are also pretty expensive if you want to have another go. The kit comes with most of the things you'll need but you will also need two plastic containers for mixing and something to mix with. I had some old take out containers and disposable chopsticks that did the trick! You will also need a thermometer to check the water temperature. Luckily, I had one from the Clone-A-Willy Kit.
Performance
This kit was a bit of a mixed bag for me! Overall, I would say it did not live up to my expectations. However, I was really impressed by how much detail the mold picked up. If there had been more silicone or better instructions for how to make the mold so it didn't protrude further than the container, I would have been much happier with it. I did wonder if the finished product could be used as a grinder, but the silicone is too hard once cured.
Packaging
The packaging for the Clone-A-Pussy was fine, it's just a white box with a pink rose and the product name on it. You should be careful when opening it though as the instructions are printed on the box. Also, the line to indicate where you should cut actually means you end up cutting through some of the instructions, which is ironic and almost laughable.
Materials and care
The alginate used to make the mold is derived from seaweed and totally body safe, so although it feels incredibly weird, you don't need to worry about it getting up in your bits! It also cleans off incredibly easily. It's a good idea to put a bag or something on the floor for an easy clean up - something we learned the hard way after doing the Clone-A-Willy Kit! The finished product is made from silicone, which is also body safe, although it's unlikely you will be using it for anything other than decoration.
