Clone-A-Willy Plus Balls Review
My Verdict
I love the idea of these kits so much and would love to have a functional dildo of my partner's penis. However, in reality, this kit was a total let down! Although the materials are good quality, it seems as if the kit shouldn't have made it past the user testing stage. The materials are stingy and the vibrator is a joke. With some serious improvements, these could be great kits, but in their current form, I'd say they're a waste of money.

Personal Experience
Fourth Time Lucky?
This is now my fourth Clone-A-Willy Kit — oh the things I do for my job! Thankfully, my partner is incredibly understanding and even managed to muster up some enthusiasm to once again put his junk into what he described as cold porridge. I think he was driven by the motivation to finally get an accurate representation as our first attempt, while not terrible, fell a little short!
Although the process is the roughly the same, this kit also aims to capture the balls in all their glory, which would be a new challenge! Having prepared the space with all the bits we needed and put a large bin bag on the floor (don’t all the sexiest situations begin like that), we were ready to go!
Clone-A-Willy 4 – Isabelle 0
At this point, I never want to see a Clone-A-Willy Kit again. We did absolutely everything we could this time. It wasn’t fun or sexy, it was a military operation! We used every tip and trick we could find — penis pump and cock ring for him, sexy lingerie for me, we had everything ready to go, and timed it all perfectly. My partner put in a Herculean effort and managed to maintain an erection through the whole process of plunging both cock and balls into the ‘porridge’ — I would give this man an olympic medal if I could! And still, we didn’t get a decent mold! It’s almost impossible to prevent part of his body touching the edge of the tube, and while we managed to do a pretty good job of getting the shaft in the center, his pubic mound touched the tube so the molding alginate didn’t form in that part. Having to be this precise and concentrated took any fun out of it for both of us. Unlike the other Clone-A-Willy original kit, this one comes with extra molding powder for a second attempt, but, by this point, we had no desire to try again.
What in the Freddie Krueger is it?
When it came to the grand reveal, I nearly cried laughing! What emerged from the mold was a caped cock nightmare! I’d accidentally let the mold dry out for too long and it had shrivelled in the places that were very thin, allowing the silicone to get around the edges. It also gave the whole thing a horrific texture. On top of that, because of the angle you have to enter the mold at, there was a large bulge at the top of the balls! I tried to trim off some of the excess silicone in the end to at least see if I could reveal some semblance of my partner’s efforts but it was pretty futile, as you can see in the pictures!
Just Not Vibing
The vibrator is also a flesh-colored, wired monstrosity that looks like it escaped from the 80s. And, the vibrations feel exactly as you would imagine – weak and buzzy and total waste of money and resources. It was also half sticking out of the bottom, as no matter what I tried the vibrator kept floating out of the silicone and there was no way to keep it from escaping while the silicone dried. This is a problem that others have also encountered.
Design
This will haunt my nightmares for years to come! Of course, how your Clone-A-Willy looks will depend largely on how well you make the mold. Although that being said, after three separate attempts, including one with a dildo, I'm yet to get anything that looks remotely appealing. Not only was the dildo hideous, the vibrator with the wire sticking out the bottom is also awful.
Ease of Use
I've said the same thing in all my Clone-A-Willy reviews — there's a lot of room for error. It's easy to do, as in there's nothing that's particularly difficult to do, but it's almost impossible to get a good end product. The instructions are very specific and there's a very tight time limit to get everything right. It's also quite a challenge to maintain an erection for three minutes in the cold gooey molding medium. And even if you do manage all that, as we did, it seems that's not enough to guarantee you a half-decent outcome. It also seems we are not alone in our struggles from reading the reviews on the Clone-A-Willy website! This kit feels like a prototype that shouldn't have made it past the user testing phase. I'm very, very skeptical that the dildos in the pictures on the Clone-A-Willy website were made with the kit as not once have I got a smooth result, even when using a dildo. It also seems like this kit could do an ok job at cloning a dildo but it just doesn't work that well with a human body.
Quality
I would not buy this kit if I was looking for a quality dildo or vibrator. The finished result isn't particularly appealing and the vibrator is total trash. I LOVE the idea of this and I don't know why they haven't improved the kits. If they actually worked well, they would be so much fun! The tube is too small so it's almost impossible to prevent your body touching the side and ruining the cast and the vibrator is absoulte trash. You would be better of just making a dildo, but there's not enough silicone in the kit to do that, so you would have to buy extra silicone for that option, and it's not cheap!
Price
If you are hoping for a decent sex toy at the end, I would say this definitely isn't worth the price. If you are looking for a silly and intimate activity to do with your partner without being too concerned with the outcome, I still think it's a little over-priced. I also think it's a lot of money to spend when there's a high chance the first attempt doesn't work out.
Performance
You already know how I feel by the kit by this point and this might come as no surprise, but I didn't put myself through the misery of 'testing' the finish product.
Packaging
The kit comes in a nicely design box which looks nice but isn't discreet.
Materials and care
I do really like that the kit uses body safe materials of algae based molding medium and platinum cured silicone. While silicone is non-porous, as the end result as little air bubbles (even after trying to tap them out), I still wouldn't feel that comfortable using it.
