Why I Chose It
The Blush Rusé Double Dildo is a fantastic U-shaped double dildo! I picked it as a test winner because it’s made with body-safe and flexible silicone, which is going to be perfect for couple’s play and double penetration. I also like the satisfying girth and the semi-realistic design elements, which add a nice touch to the visual aspect.
Our tester, Ashley, really liked the Blush Rusé Double Dildo. She found that it was “really fun” for partnered play but also could get the job done for solo double penetration fun. She found the toy to be “very smooth in texture, but the silky feel helped with the thickness of it.” It’s thick enough to feel satisfyingly filling but is still approachable. Types of Double Dildos
As I briefly introduced in the beginning, there are many different types of double dildos.
Each different type are good for specific purposes, which I will guide you through.
I am not saying, that some types can be used for other things than those I suggest, but rather I am stating what I believe they are best for.
- U-Shaped – Perfect for masturbation, U-shaped dildos are designed to penetrate both your vagina and your anus simultaneously!
- I-Shaped – Essentially, these are traditional dildos with two ends! They can be used solo for deep penetration, or with a partner for dual penetration.
- Strapless Strap-On – These toys have a regular dildo that is used as the “strap-on dildo” part. The rest of the toy fits up inside of your vagina, often designed with a bulbed end that both provides G-spot pleasure and holds the toy in place during use!
- DP Dildos -Similar to U-shaped dildos (in the sense that these toys are designed to penetrate both orifices at the same time), DP dildos look like traditional dildos, with both separate dildos being attached to the same base. These toys often have suction-cup bases, making them perfect for some DP solo entertainment!
Straight and Long
These are the simple and most common type of double dildo. Basically just a straight and longer than usual dildo. The best use for this (unless it is very flexible) is for lesbian couples. And it can for example be used in the scissoring position
Double-Headed
A double headed dildo is typically attached to a base, than can have a suction cup. It is a perfect type of double dildo for solo use, when you want to be penetrated both anally and vaginally at the same time. U-Shaped

Best Materials for Double Dildos
Non-porous materials are the preferred option when it comes to internal sex toys (or sex toys in general, for that matter).
Since they’re non-porous, they can easily be sterilized, eliminating any potential for accidentally introducing bacteria into your vagina/anus.
Silicone, glass, and metal can all be sterilized using boiling water! However, porous toys are a tempting option, since they’re often cheaper.
Unfortunately, being “porous” means that they have thousands of microscopic holes that can easily harbor bacteria inside them.
PVC, jelly, vinyl, TPE, and TPR are all common porous materials. If you decide to buy a porous toy anyway, make sure it’s labeled as “phthalate-free”!
