My Verdict
I’m so excited to finally be a part of the Doxy club. I’ve heard so much about these powerful vibrators, and my experience did not disappoint. This thing is surprisingly powerful! Especially for a smaller sized wand that’s designed to be pretty lightweight and travel-friendly, it can easily compete with some of my other full-sized, weighted wands. That said, it’s not as rumbly as I was expecting (which again is fair for such a lightweight vibrator) and I did think it was annoying that it didn’t come with a USB-C plug so I could use it immediately when I received it!

I would recommend any first-timer or beginner this toy, as it's very easy to learn and use.

About The Doxy 3 USB-C
The Doxy 3 USB-C is powerful, mains-powered wand vibrator with a body-safe silicone head. It's slightly smaller and lighter compared to Doxy's full-sized wand vibrators, which makes it perfect for travelling or for those with limited wrist or hand strength. Marketed as the budget-friendly (and Gen Z-friendly?) option out of their wand massagers, this Doxy wand has a built-in USB-C cable so it can be used anywhere in the world. You just need to buy your own USB-C plug adapter.

Personal Experience
“Batteries Not Included”
I was so excited to try out the Doxy 3 USB-C when it first arrived. However, even though I knew that the plug adapter was not included, I was severely disappointed when I couldn’t put it to the test immediately. For practical reasons, I didn’t get my plug adapter until a week later (my bad, of course, I could have made sure that both products arrived at the same time…), so the Doxy 3 USB-C was basically just sitting on my nightstand all week, taunting and teasing me. I know that the idea is to make a budget-friendly product that is universally functional with the USB-C cable. Allowing customers to buy their own plug adapters eliminates the cost of including several different types, which I know is the case when ordering the Doxy Die Cast, for example. So, I understand the concept and reasoning behind that. I just still felt slightly annoyed about having to get my own plug!Let’s Get Ready To Rumble!
Once the plug adapter arrived, I was ready for my first date with the Doxy wand. For such a small and lightweight wand vibrator, I was impressed by the sheer force rumbling out of that head! Wow! Now, compared to the full-sized, weighted wands that I already own, it’s definitely not as rumbly as I was expecting. Still, I think the sensation is a lot more deep and intense than other wands this size are! I loved how easy the buttons were to press. I can see this being a favorite for those who have limited finger strength. Since the Doxy 3 USB-C is so powerful but still easy to wield, I’ve actually used it for several massages! I’ve really enjoyed the fact that it’s mains-powered. There’s something really nice about never having to charge your vibrator or be afraid to run out of battery. You can just keep on going forever and ever and ever. Well, until it gets hot, at least…Design
I like the simplicity of this design. It’s sleek and neutral so I feel like it’s easy to use with a partner or even for a regular massage. The removable head is a nice touch so cleaning is a bit easier.
Ease of Use
My second favorite part of the Doxy 3 USB-C (the first favorite being the powerful vibrations…) is the buttons. They are large and easy to feel and find because they’re made of silicone. They’re super easy to press down on so people with limited finger strength can control the settings easily. Since the wand itself is also pretty lightweight, it is generally a lot more accessible than a regular sized wand vibrator.
Quality
As a brand, I am very familiar with Doxy and I know that they make high performance, high quality products that are super reliable. After trying it out for myself, I have no doubt that the Doxy 3 USB-C is a high quality product. With it being a mains-powered vibrator, I’m also confident that this baby will last me a lot longer than some of my rechargeable vibrators have!
Price
Even though it’s not exactly cheap, I actually don’t think the price is too bad for a wand vibrator of this quality. It’s definitely also the budget-friendly version out of most of their products at Doxy. That said, for that price, I would have appreciated that it came with a USB-C plug. Having to buy one separately just doesn’t make sense to me, even if that makes the product cheaper.
Performance
I was very impressed by the sheer power behind those vibrations! They were rumbly, yes, but as rumbly as I expected. Perhaps because this is such a lightweight wand compared to others I have tried in the past, the sensation is just different. Although, for a lightweight, compact, travel-friendly wand vibrator, it’s definitely on the rumbly side!
Packaging
I really liked the packaging for the Doxy 3 USB-C. It added to the overall experience of this being a quality item from a quality brand. I also appreciate a QR-code rather than a physical pamphlet for instructions since this seems like a more sustainable option.
Materials and care
The Doxy 3 USB-C has a body made of ABS plastic with a matte metallic finish. The head itself and the buttons are made of body-safe silicone. Now, the most important thing to know is that it is NOT waterproof. Since it is mains-powered, it should not be submerged into water and only be cleaning with a damp cloth with a bit of sex toy cleaner or a mild soap. The head is removable so you can thoroughly run this under water for a thorough cleaning without damaging the body. Make sure all components are completely dry before assembling and storing away.
