Why I Chose It

This Oxballs Honcho is certainly a big boy, with this filling plug leaving you satisfied for days. With its soft and squishy material, it makes it great for a number of different experienced users, even those wanting to explore the world of larger butt plugs. With a diameter of 2.85 inches, this plug starts off smaller and expands, then get smaller again, leaving you felling fulfilled.

This is a very girthy butt plug and Ben discovered “there’s a good bit of stretch that has to happen” in a short space of time when inserting it, which will be part of the fun for many! He also noted that although the tip isn’t tapered “the give that the toy has lends to nearly effortless insertion.” The unique, un-tapered shape of this plug may look daunting, but with the filling sensation it provides, as well as the attractive design and pattern, this is one of my favourite large butt plugs on the market!

The only slight complaint I have is that the base could be bigger for peace of mind, especially as the plug itself is so big. That being said, Ben gave it a good test and found that it did stay securely put outside! I crowned the Honcho from Oxballs the overall best large butt plug because it’s big, it’s beautiful, and it’s filling! Plus, as it’s made from squishy silicone, it’s comfortable to wear. Lather it in water-based lube and take it slow and steady on inserting, and I am sure it will leave you satisfied.

Why I Chose It

I have often found that with larger sized products, they often come with a larger price tag, but not this one! The SquarePegToys Prostate Massager is a great large butt plug that doesn’t break the bank, but more expand your behind! This plug adds so much texture and excitement through its rigged edges and lumps and bumps. Boasting a large 2.25″ diameter, a generally bulbus body and a 5.5″ length, the several massaging points throughout the plug make this one of the most exciting ones in the roundup!

Due to its unique and complex design, I would not recommend using this anal plug if you are a beginner, as the design could be overwhelming due to the multiple internal stimulations. I would only recommend this toy to more experienced users that are used to heightened internal stimulation, as well as larger anal plugs, as this one is going to have to take some training. Our tester Allen had some slight reservations, saying “The spikes, or nubs, bumps, ridges, whatever you want to call them were a bit frightening at fist glance, but it turns out they are the same level of squishy as the rest of the toy”. Due to the softness of the toy, it does make for easier insertion and comfort.

This is one of the only plugs in this review that is textured and has ridges, so if you are looking for something with a little more texture and details, then this is probably the toy for you.

Why I Chose It

I just couldn’t write this review without having this dream butt plug included. I couldn’t find a specific category to place it in, as it is great for a lot of different things. The Lovense Hush 2 Large is probably the most impressive plug in the review, with its many attractive features. Its insertable length of 5 inches, width of 2.22 inches and its 7 vibrations patterns, as well as being made of high quality silicone, I really dream of this toy.

Why I Chose It

I picked the b-Vibe Rimming Plug XL as the best vibrating large butt plug, as I love that it stimulates both internally with vibrations and with rotations around the anus.

Tom reviewed it for us found the vibrations ranged from “gentle to moderate” while the rotating beads gave “a gentle, massaging sensation that was very relaxing.” He liked that “Combining the two upped the ante for a fun relaxing session.”

The shape also worked very well for him, commenting that “plug had a nice taper to it, with a fairly narrow neck in relation to the widest point.” Personally, this is something I really appreciate and look for in a butt plug because it means it much less likely to pop out during use. He also found the design held the plug “snugly in place better than most plugs [he’s] tried.”

A remote control is always a big plus for me when it comes to anal toys, otherwise it feels very awkward to change the settings. Tom did find it came with a bit of a learning curve as “controlling both the vibration in the tip and the beads in the neck independently takes some getting used to.” However, this would be even more difficult without a remote!

Tom did find himself craving a little more size, so I would say butt plug is best for exploring new sensations rather than looking for the most extreme stretch.

Why I Chose It

I consider myself intermediate level when it comes to anal play and the Snug Plug 3 was quite a challenge for me! While I love the overall design, it doesn’t come out to play very often simply because of the size.

I’ll admit that the measurements don’t quite live up to the impressive sizes of some of the other massive butt plugs in this review, but the lack of tapered tip, completely rigid construction, and weightiness do make this plug feel bigger than it is.

For me, the biggest challenge is inserting the first half. The barrel shape means you have to stretch quite far in a short amount of time, so I’ve found it absolutely necessary to warm up. However, once it’s in it’s the most comfortable butt plug I’ve ever worn.

I love the thin neck so much! It was much more comfortable as it doesn’t keep the anus stretched and it means the plug stays firmly in place! I could walk around or have sex and it didn’t budge. I may have even done some jumping jacks just to really test it out!

My main critique is that for some reason, b-Vibe’s silicone tends to retain smell more than others I’ve tried, but as long as I clean it very thoroughly straight away and leave it out to dry overnight I’ve managed to avoid this problem.
