My Verdict
Goldilocks would love this toy because in so many ways it's... just right! Overall, this is a beginner-friendly vibrator with lots of great features. The LELO Liv 3 is a jack of all trades as it executes internal or external stimulation well, however it doesn't have any remarkably unique features either. If you are looking to invest in a good quality and versatile toy, this could be your next favourite!

The LELO Liv 3 is an app compatible silicone vibrator. While this toy is marketed as a g-spot vibrator, it can also be used for clitoral stimulation. Personal Experience
Good Things Come In Small Packages
When I first opened the LELO Liv 3 I admittedly thought “oh she’s smaller than I thought”! However, I was pleasantly surprised that despite the smaller size, it had nice rumbly vibrations and was very quiet! Don’t expect Magic Wand level rumbly– but for an insertable vibrator I am impressed. The best part about this toy though was actually how much my partner liked it. They are someone who loves the feeling of penetration, but does not like anything even moderately thick as it feels painful. The Liv 3 wins by putting nice rumbly vibrations in a smaller package making is more accessible for folks who don’t like thick toys. Bonus points go to this vibrator for being fully waterproof as I love any toys I can use as foreplay in the tub!Hits The Spot! Just Not The G-Spot?
I’ll start by acknowledging that everyone’s anatomy is different, of course! But I find I need a prominent bulb/ridge/curve on my toys for g-spot stimulation that this vibrator simply didn’t provide. I still enjoyed this toy and will certainly be using it lots, but I prefer to pair it with clitoral stimulation. The internal sensation it provides is wonderful, but not g-spot specific. I see myself using the Liv 3 as internal stimulation when having other forms of sex with my parter, or by using it for solo sessions solely on my clitoris. The Liv 3 for me is like a really great appetizer or desert, but not necessarily the main dish.Design
One of my only critiques of the LELO Liv 3 (and other LELO toys, really) is that the metal components make the toys look cheap. In my opinion, I much prefer when silicone toys have one sleek colour. The deep rose colour on this vibrator is gorgeous, but when paired with the stark white base and metal seam, it appears a bit tacky and outdated. Plus, metal components can rust/tarnish if not dried off properly after cleaning. Please LELO, I'm begging you! Your toys are incredible, but please remove the tacky metal components. Otherwise, this toy is designed very well. It is easy to hold sturdy, light, and feels great.
Ease of Use
The LELO Liv 3 is a very standard toy to operate and easy to use. The toy has three buttons, a plus and minus to increase and decrease speed, and a middle button to rotate through the different patterns. I found the app made using this vibe even easier as I didn't have to click through each pattern with the buttons, and could simply click my desired pattern and speed on my phone. Due to it's smaller width and length, this toy would be a great option for folks exploring penetration for the first time or who find too much girth too painful. (However, the Liv 3 is still is pleasurable even as someone who likes bigger toys too!) I've included a photo of the Liv 3 compared to two other "average" dildos I own to demonstrate the size!
Quality
This vibrator really is great quality and checks all of my boxes I look for when buying a new toy. The silicone feels silky and smooth, the settings are easy to navigate, it's fully waterproof, and notably quiet. I've had no problems with battery life and app connectivity, and the toy feels very sturdy overall. My only critique for this otherwise beautiful toy is the dang metal component! Where the silicone meets the metal there is a tiny groove where lube, body fluids, and soap get stuck which requires extra attention while cleaning.
Price
The LELO Liv 3 is a luxury sex toy, and I do believe you get what you pay for. In the box you receive a charging cable, storage bag, and information about the toy. LELO also provides a limited one year warranty that protects against faulty workmanship and parts, so make sure you register your new toy online for added peace of mind. This toy is compatible with the LELO app which can be downloaded for free on your phone, and can work for solo or long distance partner play.
Performance
Overall, this toy performed great. The vibrations were pretty rumbly, the app was easy to use, and the size made it easy to insert. However, I did not feel this vibrator did anything significant to stimulate my g-spot compared to other toys I've tried in the past. For me, I find I get the best g-spot stimulation with a pronounced curve/bulb/ridge at the end of my toys. This vibrator is gently curved which makes it easy to glide in with the curve of your body, but it was not pronounced enough for me to receive significant g-spot stimulation. This vibrator does get points for staying charged through numerous sessions, being exceptionally quiet, and still feeling great.
Packaging
The packaging is very sleek and luxurious. This vibrator came in a black textured box with a clear plastic panel showcasing the toy. The only things written on the front of the box are the brand and name of the toy in a matte gold font which adds to the luxe vibe. I find that sex toy packaging can often be very "loud", colourful, and crowded-- but the LELO packaging really lets the toy take centre stage.
Materials and care
The LELO Liv 3 is waterproof and made of non-porous silicone making it easy to clean. Use your favourite toy cleaner, or wash with mild soap and water, and you're good to go! This vibrator also comes with a sleek black storage bag making it easy to store and stay clean.
Special feature
The LELO Liv 3’s special feature isn’t even the app… it’s’ what’s in the app. The “Finish Me Off” setting! I have always been someone who prefers steady stimulation or rising and falling waves of vibrations, but this setting changed my mind. The “Finish Me Off” setting is only accessible through the app and is a sequence of vibrations designed to build the user to orgasm when they are close to finishing. Whether I was close to orgasm or not, I can truly say I reached for this pattern numerous times while using this toy. I found the app overall to be nothing fancy, but very user-friendly. I appreciate the ease of being able to switch vibrations on my phone instead of fiddling for buttons on the toy mid-session.
