Personal Experience
First Impressions
I’ll be honest, the LELO Tor 2 is pretty basic and I wasn’t convinced it could compete with the other rings in the toy box. While the packaging is *chef’s kiss*, a simple ring with a button on both sides is about as plain as you can get. That’s not a bad thing, though, because you don’t want to have to enter the Konami code when preparing for a session unlike some other toys.Putting a Ring on It
The Tor 2 is one of the more comfortable rings I’ve tried. Not only is the texture silky smooth, but it also has a balance of elasticity and firmness that makes a great cock ring. The power of the vibrations aren’t the strongest however they are enough to be pleasurable without leaving you numb. Despite its simplicity, the softness and flexible-yet-firm material sets it apart from other rings by staying comfortable even with extended wear. The grip is very secure and will stay in place even in various positions or with lubrication. One thing I would change would be to add more texture to the vibrating surface to enhance your partner's stimulation. The flat build may make it difficult for them to experience the vibration.
Ease of Use
A simple hold of the plus button turns the toy on while holding the minus button turns it off. Pressing the plus button while it's on cycles through the different patterns making the controls about as simple as it gets. Even though the controls are straightforward, the way the buttons are positioned and the lack of a remote feature may make it difficult to adjust during a session. I would recommend finding your favorite pattern before use.
Quality
The quality of the toy is impressive for such a basic design. The firm grip has yet to loosen after multiple uses which is something I was initially worried about with the width being as thin as it is. The vibration is so quiet that you really don't notice it even at the higher settings. Even though the material is soft and easy to clean, it attracts quiet a bit of dust and lint which knocks a few points off the rating.
Price
The price is admittedly a bit high for a cock ring lacking remote features and limited pattern options. Other toys in this range also generally have magnetic charging as opposed to plug-in. The value really comes from its reliability and quality of material. Another huge bonus is the included one year warranty that is extremely simple to set up on the LELO website. If something happens to the toy, at least you know you won't have to shell out another $100+.
Performance
The best way to describe the performance on this toy is 'solid.' It's great at being a simple cock ring but don't expect much else. The vibrations are satisfying and the battery didn't get hot with extended usage. The battery life lasted around its advertised 1.5 hours and had a decent recharge rate. Its quiet sound and comfortable feel really made the whole experience a set it and forget it.
Packaging
The packaging is pretty freakin' sexy. It's elegant and well built in a way that showcases the toy and nicely stores the extras. While the storage bag is great quality, I have honestly been keeping the toy back in the box not only since everything fits together while also preventing that pesky lint and dust build up. Materials and care
The material is really light while also being strong. Despite the exposed USB plug, the toy is still waterproof. The non-porous silicone makes it easy to clean after each use and dries relatively quickly. Simple toy cleaner and lukewarm water is all you need to make the ring look and feel as good as new. As mentioned before, I strongly recommend using either the box or storage bag to avoid dust build up.
