About The Lovense Edge 2
The Lovense Edge 2 is a prostate massager with two motors for the prostate and the perineum. It's made of smooth silicone that is waterproof and easy to clean. The vibrations can be powerful but you have the flexibility with the app to fine tune it to your liking. The app also allows you to hand over control to someone else. It can be used without the app, but you'll really be missing out on 80 percent of the fun this has to offer.

Personal Experience
Upon getting the Lovense Edge 2, I was super pumped to try this puppy out. After turning it on in my hand, my thoughts were that it was okay, but nothing really special. But then I tried to figure out how to work the app. It took only about 10 mins to download the app, make an account, and connect the Edge 2 to my phone. After that, my tune had changed to “wow, this thing is cool!”. I could set my own vibration patterns or download them from the community, as well set it to music (either downloaded or through Spotify) and even set an alarm! It felt amazing being able to control the vibrations and patterns myself, but now I wanted to know how it was with my partner taking control. She made an account and well… blew my mind. It felt super hot having someone else at the helm! For round 2, she used it while I was home and she was out 2 towns over, but it was like she was right there with me. It was even better not knowing when she would set it off or for how long – what a tease! The battery life lasted over 100 minutes which was great, and it charged quicker than I thought. I really liked how simply the design is and its flexibility too, which allowed it to hit just the right spot. Plus, I also love how easy it is to clean, which really does make it more fun to use, knowing that clean up will be a breeze.
Design
The design of the Lovense Edge 2 prostate massager is great – not too big not too small, with a flexible head to fit you better. The second bump is larger enough to hold it in place even while moving about. It feels smooth and firm to the touch being made of silicone, and looks sleek with a matte black finish and only one button. It's waterproof so you can use it anywhere, and the magnetic charger makes it super easy to charge as well.
Ease of Use
Without the app, the Lovense Edge 2 is super easy to use. Just press and hold the only button until it turns on! Pressing the button again will cycle through the preprogrammed settings. Connecting to their app takes a little bit, but is what makes this product out of this world. Once connected and after making an account, there are more different patterns to download, or you can make your own. You can even control everything the base vibrations and p-spot vibrations independently! You can also give control to a partner, even over long distance (via WiFi).
Quality
I've only had the Lovense Edge 2 for a short time but it seems as though it will last for a long while after many uses depending on battery degradation. Since the Edge is sealed water-tight there is no way to change the batteries once they start to go. It feels like a solid toy and very reliable, definitely a go-to for me.
Price
At right about $140 USD you're getting what you pay for. A very well-built and designed toy. If you go for it, you have to take advantage of the easy-to-use app – it really makes all the difference from a toy that's just an average run-of-the-mill product to 'WOW this is out of this world'. Plus, the fact that you can give control of it to anyone anywhere is truly amazing. This toy will last you a long time. Worth the buy!
Performance
The Edge 2 exceeded my expectations as well as what they said online. The dual vibrations on max will put the "O" on your face. The battery lasted past the 100 min run time without getting hot, and it recharged back up in about 30-45 minutes. On max power it is a bit loud and can be heard when inserted from about 15 feet away. Through a wall or door, it seems much less noticeable. Connecting to the app makes this toy way more pleasurable, making you or a partner fine-tune the controls.
Packaging
The box was wrapped in clear wrap, and it was not taped shut so you could just use a fingernail to open. Inside was the toy surrounded by foam packing. Under that was the box containing the charging cable, as well as a black storage bag, an owners manual and a quick start manual.
Materials and care
This prostate massager is made of firm, slick silicone, and is phthalate-free and non-porous. The one button is under the silicone, with no gaps. The only other thing noticeable on it is two small metal magnetic stubs for charging, making it completely submersible and super easy to clean. Just use mild soap, and warm water or your favorite silicone-safe sex toy cleaner.
Special feature
The Lovense Edge 2’s free app can be found on their website. The app lets you control each of the two motors (head and base) simultaneously or individually. You can choose prewritten patterns or download any from the community. Then, there is an option to have it vibrate to music, as well as an alarm, and sync with ambient sounds. However my favorite part is connecting to someone else using the chat mode, you need their name and for them to create an account. You can chat, video, send pics, and give them the controls.
