Why I Chose It
The Tantus Cush is a clear test winner in the realm of non-phallic dildos. I am amazed by the beautiful gradient design, and the pronounced yet tapered tip, along with the raised ridge around the middle, makes this simple dildo look just non-phallic enough while still providing a lifelike internal feel.
The most important feature, however, is the dual-density; it is a life changer! Our tester and sex toy expert, Cassie, said the Tantus Cush has a “cushy, squishy, comfy feel,” which makes it “super comfortable to use in all sorts of ways.” She also pointed out that this dildo is ”stable and solid enough to provide some delightful internal massage yet comfortable to use for a longer period of time.”
However, she did find that the pronounced ridge, while adding to the stimulation, did create more friction than expected, which just required extra lube. This wasn’t a deal-breaker but something to be mindful of. I do think the lack of a suction cup base was a slight letdown, especially considering the price point. Why I Chose It
I think the Tantus Charmer is a great starter non-realistic dildo. I chose it because it has a different shape than most dildos on the market. It features a bigger, rounded head and slimmer shaft, which will make the experience comfortable enough for total beginners, but you will still be able to stimulate your sweet spots with the firmer, larger head. Plus, the ridged shaft provides nice stimulation during thrusts, especially during anal play! They are designed to stimulate your G or A-spot repeatedly as it moves in and out. The flared base makes it amazing for hands-free fun. Or to give in to some strap-on teasing.
Our tester and sex toy expert Isabelle found the Charmer to be a great non-realistic anal dildo; she pointed out that “the slightly larger head and slimmer shaft feel great,” but the slimmer shaft at the bottom left her wanting a “fuller feeling when using vaginally.” That’s why I think those not used to larger insertable toys, will appreciate the usual design of the Charmer. Performance-wise, Isabelle liked the ridged shaft, saying that they have “the slight feel of anal beads as the shaft is inserted but not as intense, and they add some subtle stimulation while the toy is inside as well.”
Overall, I think that the Tantus Charmer is a high-quality non-phallic dildo that many users will appreciate for its unique design. The only small issue is the lack of a suction cup base.
