Test Winner SquarePegToys G Squeeze Vaginal Plug
- Super soft, squishy silicone
- Folds inwards for insertion
- Can be worn facing forwards or backwards
Specifications
Pros
- ✅ Comfortable, wearable design
- ✅ 8 different sizes available
- ✅ Great for public play
- ✅ Stays in place well
Cons
- ❌ Requires a lot of lube
- ❌ Can be tricky to insert
Why I Chose It
It was kind of a no brainer when choosing the best pussy plug on the market! The G Squeeze is a cleverly design plug created purely for pussy filling pleasure! SquarePegToys designed this toy specifically to be able to stretch the vagina and provide intense G-spot stimulation while still being comfortable to wear.
Our tester, Lexis, was surprised by the G Squeeze’s unique design but “almost fell instantly in love” with it. She loved “the amazing feeling it created as [she] moved.” She also found that the “unique design helps keep the plug inside” and she was able to wear it out in public without it slipping out. I would say it’s one of the most wearable pussy plugs out there.
Her only real complaint was that using lube made the G-Squeeze pussy plug “difficult to hold onto it while putting it in.” Overall though, she “loved the quality of this product, it was so soft and so squishy!”
As a sex toy expert, I think this pussy plug as some very clever design elements. Similar to shape of a hand when fisting, the G Squeeze folds in on itself to make it easier to insert and then expands to it’s full (and filling) potential. It can also be worn two ways and is designed so it doesn’t rest on or bump the cervix!
Best for Beginners SquarePegToys Egg Plug
- Super soft silicone
- Bulbed shape and thin neck
- T-bar style base
Specifications
Pros
- ✅ Soft silicone flexes with your body
- ✅ Great for both anal and vaginal play
- ✅ Available in 9 sizes
Cons
- ❌ Silicone used can absorb smells
- ❌ The base is quite bulky
- ❌ Attracts a lot of lint
Why I Chose It
Although the SquarePegToys Egg Plug is designed to be an anal toy, it also makes a fantastic pussy plug. The soft body safe silicone and small egg shaped body are the perfect design for a beginners pussy plug, especially the xs size that our tester, Flora, reviewed for us!
Although she tried it as anal plug, there were plenty of things she mentioned that would make this great for vaginal use.
She described the Egg as “flexible, fleshy, and fabulous” and found it “a pleasure to squeeze” around. She also thought the “girthy stem [was] perfect for a satisfying squeeze and stretch.” This softness allows for a gentle but satisfying stretch of the vaginal walls without being uncomfortable and lets the plug flex with your body.
She mentioned that the rounded tip and soft silicone made it a tricky to insert anally, but I see this as being a plus for vaginal play!
One downside she experienced was that the silicone “absorbed the fragrance of [her] cleanser” so I would make sure to use fragrance-free soap and be sure to let the plug air dry fully before storing.
Best on a Budget Tantus Ryder
- Firm but flexible silicone
- Rounded tip
- Curved T-bar base
Specifications
Pros
- ✅ Soft silicone
- ✅ Comfortable shape
- ✅ Good filling sensation
Cons
- ❌ Might be too firm for some
- ❌ Base is a little long
- ❌ No storage bag included
Why I Chose It
The Tantus Ryder is another butt plug that can definitely moonlight as a pussy plug. It is a little firmer than the other pussy plugs in the review, but this means it can apply firmer pressure against your G-spot.
Similar to the SquarePegToys Eggs, our tester, Rachel, found the smooth rounded tip a little too blunt for anal play, but it would be much easier to insert vaginally. That being said, she “adore[d] the super soft, velvety silicone.” Having tried a fair few Tantus toys myself, I can also vouch for the quality of their silicone.
Once inserted, she said “it was super filling and satisfying to wear” but inserting anally required a fair amount of warm up. Again, this wouldn’t be problem for most people when using it as a pussy plug.
This is the size plug I would go for if I was looking for a more beginner-friendly pussy plug that still felt nice and filling.
Best Vibrating Lovense Lush 3 Egg Plug
- App and long distance controls
- Powerful vibrations
- Thick bulbed shape
Vibrations
Specifications
Pros
- ✅ Can be enjoyed hands-free
- ✅ Great connectivity
- ✅ Extra long battery life
Cons
- ❌ Not filling enough for some
- ❌ Tail vibrations are weak
- ❌ Tail can be tricky to position
Why I Chose It
The Lovense Lush 3 has become an iconic vibrator, famous for being the ideal public play toy! Our tester, Kasia, had a lot of fun testing it out. She was impressed that “the egg’s vibrations are very powerful but quiet simultaneously” — perfect for sexy fun on the go!
She also found the shape very comfortable to wear, commenting “feel of the egg is great; it’s soft and smooth, and sliding it in is pleasurable and easy.” It was also “very comfortable to wear and walk around with it inside.”
Although the vibrations in the plug itself were nice and strong, the vibrations in the tail “very delicate and weak even in the highest settings.”
In terms of app controls, the “Lovense app is very intuitive” and having tried it myself with the Lush 2 and other Lovense toys, I can say it has the most reliable connectivity of all the apps I’ve tried.
If I was going to buy a pussy plug for partnered play, this would be the one I’d go for as it’s so much fun to let your partner control the vibrations from their phone while you are plugged up!
Best Large Pussy Plug Oxballs Honcho
- Extra thick and filling
- Penis head design
- Flexible neck and small base
Specifications
Pros
- ✅ Very girthy for a good stretch
- ✅ Silicone is squishy enough to move with you
- ✅ Fun colors and design
Cons
- ❌ Tricky to insert
- ❌ Will be too big for many
Why I Chose It
I wanted to include a large pussy plug for anyone who craves a real stretch! Although today’s test winner, the G-Squeeze comes in an XL size, the shape means it doesn’t stretch all the way around in the same way the Honcho would!
This plug from Oxballs was also designed for anal play but would make a very filling and very satisfying pussy plug! Our tester tried it out for anal play and was really impressed by the quality. He also love the design, describing is as “really unique and exotic, while still looking VERY phallic.”
There are a few reasons I think this would make a great pussy plug. Firstly, it’s got a nice rounded tip, so it won’t dig into the cervix. Secondly, it’s made of lovely squishy silicone. Lastly, the base is nice and small. While this was a downside for our tester when using it anally, it would make it more comfortable to use as a pussy plug.

What’s the Difference Between a Butt Plug and a Pussy Plug?
Pussy plugs and butt plugs are very similar in design — both are designed to create an internal stretch and sensation of fullness and have a narrow neck that doesn’t stretch out the vaginal or anal opening. You’ll also notice that some of the pussy plugs in the review were actually designed to be butt plugs but work fantastically for both!
Technically you can wear any butt plugs in your vagina! However, softer, squishy silicone is going to be most comfortable for a vaginal plug toy, especially if you to wear it during the day. It’s also important to note that if you have used a toy anally, you should only use it vaginally after it has been sterilised by boiling it. This means that it must be made of silicone, borosilicate glass, or metal and have no electrical parts.
Not all pussy plugs can be used as butt plugs! It doesn’t matter if a pussy plug has a flared base because the vagina has a natural end point. However, it is very important that a butt plug has a flared base otherwise you risk it travelling up inside you, which can be very dangerous.
