Why I Chose It
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I love these bed restraints. Ever since I got them, they’ve been a permanent fixture on my bed, ready to go anytime the moment strikes!
I really appreciate the plain black design as I much prefer something simple and unobtrusive. It’s also great that they simply tuck under the mattress when not in use.
I’ve worn these for extended sessions and been extremely comfortable in them. I’ve found them mostly secure, although the attachment straps can move around slightly if you squirm a lot.
For regular restraints, I tend to prefer buckles over velcro, but in this case, I actually really like it because it’s so quick to get the cuffs on. I also love the moment my partner tightens the straps… that’s when the real fun begins!

Why I Chose It
At under $30, these have to be some of the cheapest bed restraints they are! While I wouldn’t say they are the strongest, they certainly get the job done!
Although our reviewer, Moe, and his partner hadn’t really explored bondage before, they found it “a lot of fun trying new things.” He also commented that “It didn’t take very long for [him] to be comfortable with being lightly bound.”
He liked that the “soft cuffs are functional, comfortable, and close with simple hook-and-loop.” I would say this is makes this a very beginner-friendly set. Although he said the blindfold felt a little cheap, he was surprised by how the “inability to anticipate where she was going next made each touch sizzle.”
The main difference between these sex straps and the others in the review is that you need to tie them to restraint points, like a bed frame. While I like that this makes them more versatile (you can tie them to anything you like), it does mean they take a little more time to set up each time.

Why I Chose It
I think the silver design and velcro cuffs of the Fifty Shades of Grey Hard Limits Bed Restraints make them a great, un-intimidating beginner bed restraints set!
Our tester Rachel, who describes herself as a bondage beginner also agrees! She tested them out with her partner and found them to be “a fantastic introduction to the world of full-body restraint.”
She loved that the set is “relatively easy to install” and “strapping someone into the restraints is also very easy.” However, she also noted that on their slightly bigger than queen size bed, the straps “were extended almost to their longest point” but still worked comfortably. This is worth keeping in mind if your bed is bigger than queen size.
While she enjoyed using the set, Rachel “would have preferred plain black” restraints, and I have to say I agree. The silver design isn’t for me, but that really is a matter of preference!

Why I Chose It
I chose to include the DOMINIX Deluxe Leather Under Mattress Restraints as it’s high quality restraint set that’s more suitable to advanced or heavy duty bondage. The leather buckling cuffs are more secure and require a higher level of trust and vulnerability that’s more suited to those with some bondage experience.
Britnee, tested them out for us and “absolutely loved adding this to play time,” commenting that they will “will definitely use it again!”
She loved that the bed restraints were “easy to assemble, versatile, and portable” and that the “soft leather of the cuffs were comfortable.”
This set also stands out to me as being more versatile, and Britnee enjoyed that the multiple “rings and carabiners allow for many different positions.”
The real consideration with these bed straps is that according to the Lovehoney website. it’s only designed to fit up to a double bed, which is limiting.

Why I Chose It
I think these are a great intermediate level set of bed restraints. They are still intimidating in design but the buckle fastenings give them a bit more security.
Our tester, Cassie, “absolutely adore[d] the reversible feature in the cuff design” and really liked “the that the buckle fastenings on the cuffs make for a more advanced BDSM experience” compared to velcro. She was also impressed by “how easy it is to install, and how lightweight, portable, and versatile it is.”
She was also impressed by the size inclusivity of the cuffs, commenting that she “really appreciate[d) the multiple levels of adjustability in the cuffs and the strap”
The versatility of these sex straps also stood out as big pro as it has “four optional fastening points, two additional connecting chains” that give you more bondage opportunities than other sets.
While Cassie was overall very happy with this bed restraint kit, she commented that the higher price felt a bit like “paying for the brand moreso than the value of the product.”
