Sliquid Soul: Organic Coconut Oil Moisturiser Review
My Verdict
An oil-based, organic product that can be used as a personal masturbator and a body oil for massages! Who doesn't love a 2-in-1! As someone who isn't naturally a fan of oil based products, that being hair, skin or lube, I really found a match in this product. I am a fan of the Sliquid brand as I really like the way they think about what ingredients they are putting in their products - I am someone who finds comfort in knowing that the products are safe for my body. This moisturiser ticked most of my boxes; the ones not ticked were the fact that it was not translucent and that it came in a very small bottle, but had a high price tag. I would highly recommend buying this product though, if these factors are no biggie for you!

About The Sliquid Soul - Organic Coconut Oil Moisturiser
The Sliquid Organic coconut oil moisturiser is a body lubricant made of organic ingredients, like sunflower seed oil and shea butter. It is from a recognisable company, that creates products for women, by women. This means that their products are glycerin and paraben free and is great for vulva owners that are susceptible to vaginal infections. This product comes in small bottle that can easily be held in one hand, that is made of plastic and has an easy-to-use click-close lid. Its packaging is discrete but recognisable, with a neutral green colour to replicant its natural ingredients. This product has a pH reading of 6, showing that it is slightly acidic; great for those who want a lube that has a similar pH to their vulva.
Pros
- ✅Safe and non reactive ingredients
- ✅Long-lasting
- ✅Travel sized bottle
Cons
- ❌Expensive product
- ❌Not FDA approved
- ❌Hard to squeeze bottle

Design
I really like the design of this moisturiser - it is subtle and discrete, but attractive to look at. Firstly, I like the size of the bottle, it is perfect to take in my beg with me, anywhere I go. I also sometimes dont like large bulky bottles as they are too big and heavy to travel with. I really like the colour of this bottle - the dark green label to me, relates to the fact that it uses organic ingredients. The green symbolises nature and natural ingredients. I also like the silver flower design on the front of the bottle - It is attractive and pretty to look at. Some could think the packaging looks slightly more feminine than masculine, but overall I think the packaging looks discrete and not that noticeable that it can be used as a sexual lubricant. If I was to change anything about the design, I would have made the font size slightly bigger, so it is a little easier to read.
Ease of Use
As this lube is oil based, it is not so easy to wash off the skin. Using hot water and soap, most of it washes off the surface, but still feels oily and a little greasy after washing off. I don't like a product that feels like it is still lingering on the skin after washing off. After a couple of washes it came off, but my skin still smelt slightly oily - the light smell of sunflower oil definitely remained. This oil based product is also not compatible with condoms or silicone sex toys, so I would only recommend using it for personal masturbation or with a partner who does not wear a condom. Most oil based products are long lasting and this one is no exception; it does not become tacky when massaging it into the skin and remains oily without reapplication. It is certainly not a slippery/wet lube, but it definitely acts as another layer.
Quality
Sliquid are a brand that I am very familiar with, but if you're not, I can tell you that they make great products with high quality ingredients. Despite them not being FDA approved, this organic moisturiser uses high quality ingredients that are safe for the body. I love how Sliquid make their lubes without glycerin or parabens, as I then don't have to worry about the risk of getting a vaginal infection, as it is now significantly reduced. The pH of this moisturiser also reduces the chances of getting a vaginal infection, as it reads a pH of 6, which is acidic, like the natural pH of a vagina. This moisturiser uses organic ingredients, here is a list: Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Sunflower Seed Oil, Organic Shea Butter, Organic Cocoa Seed Butter, Organic Almond Oil, Organic Apricot Kernel Oil, Natural Tocopherols (Non-GMO).
Price
This products' one major downfall, is its high price tag. Sure, it is a high quality product that uses expensive ingredients that are better for the body, compared to silicone lube ingredients for example. Yet, it comes in a very small bottle with not a lot of product inside. After giving my partner a full body massage, most of the bottle had gone! I would prefer the price to remain the same, but receive way more product than I did! Also, for a product that doesn't have many special features, it has a high price tag. If you don't mid paying, then I would highly recommend this product. Otherwise, there are definitely other products on the market that are cheaper and use organic ingredients.
Performance
I often find that oil based products last longer than water based products for example. This oil based moisturiser keeps the skin lubricated and hydrated, allowing you to use it for a long period of time, without drying out. I especially like using this moisturiser as a body oil; rubbing it into the skin to give body massages, as it feels more nourishing and enriching that other body oils. It is a thin lube that has a slightly yellow/orange colour to it - I prefer thinner lubes as they feel more natural and less synthetic. This moisturiser feels very natural and conditioning on the skin thats why I love it so much. I really hate thick lubes that feel synthetic and false, to me it makes sex less intimate and natural. I wouldn't personally recommend using this coconut oil with a sex toy, as I don't think it is thick enough. Instead, I would recommend using it as a personal masturbator or an oil to massage a partner with.
Compatibility
The overall packaging of this bottle is small and easy to hold and travel with. It is small enough to beheld in one hand and it has a click-close lid, which is easy to use and direct the moisturiser onto your desired area of the body. However, I have noticed that Sliquid use a hard plastic when it comes to their bottles, and I find them some of the hardest bottles to squeeze, because the plastic is so thick! I love a bottle that is easy to squeeze as I can get out the most amount of product and it is easier to use when my hands have product on them already! This bottle is very hard to squeeze and the only thing we have to thank is how runny the liquid is, as I don't think I would be able to get any product out of the bottle if not! Finally, I would use this moisturiser as a lube, but also a body moisturiser. I would probably opt for a bigger bottle as this bottle doesn't contain a lot of product, and I think half the bottle would be gone if I used it for my whole body!
Stain Test
Even though this lube is slightly yellow/orange in colour, it does not permanently stain the sheets. When initially spilt on sheets, it slightly stains them, but once washed out, no discolouration occurs. When rubbed onto the skin, it is initially slightly yellow in colour, but then rubs in to be translucent. I cannot say this does the same for darker skin tones, it may lighten the skin tone slightly. This moisturisor washes off using hot water and natural soap, or if you're washing out of cloth, then put them in the washing machine.
