I chose the Saffron Loop Paddle as the best spanking paddle as, out of all the ones we’ve tested, it is the best all-rounder that I would happily recommend for most spanking purposes!
Cassie, took the Loop Paddle for spin and was a big fan, so much so, it got a perfect 5/5 star review! This paddle impressed her in terms of “aesthetics, functionality, performance, and price!”

Why I Chose It
I think Lovehoney have really hit the nail on the head when it comes to sleek, sexy design with this paddle. Our tester, Jesse really agrees!
He “didn’t quite expect it to be such good quality” and was “very impressed by how sexy it looks.”
Both Jesse and his partner were also impressed the impact, commenting that the shape and size “distributes the impact really well” and “you can really get a good whip on it due to the flexibility.”
As any good spanking paddle should, it makes “a fantastic slapping sound on impact” — great for keeping the spankee on their toes!
They also really appreciated that even though it was vegan leather, it still “feels very luxurious.”

“I love this product so much that I bought one for my partner so he would have his own paddle to play with.”
It’s safe to say, our tester Sarah, was happy with the Saffron Ping Pong Paddle! As well as her overwhelmingly positive review, I chose it as the best spanking paddle for beginner because the sturdy design and large surface make it nice and easy to use.
The Ping Pong Paddle was “so beautiful” she almost didn’t want to use it! But, luckily for us, she did! She found Sportsheet’s description of a ‘sensual swat’ very accurate and enjoyed the “lasting sensation” after a good spanking session.
Overall, she found it very easy to use, but did wish the handle was a little more ergonomic to hold.
Where possible, I try to recommend products that are a bit less expensive for beginners, as you don’t know if a type of toy will work for you before you try it. This is another reason I picked this paddle as my beginner option! Sarah also thought the price was “is very reasonable” for the quality and durability of the paddle!

Why I Chose It
I had the pleasure (and pain) of reviewing, and being on the receiving end of, the Tantus Thwack and let me tell you, this thing is intense! I love that it’s made of silicone as it’s super easy to clean and creates a very powerful slap.
The paddle section is quite thick and flexible and has quite a bit of weight behind it so you really don’t need to use a lot of force to make a big impact. The smooth silicone also has a very stingy sensation.
In my experience, the bigger surface area is fantastic for slaps on the butt but a bit big and heavy for any other areas.
My only small complaint is that the handle is not super comfortable to hold. It’s thick and flat and the edges aren’t rounded so it digs in to your hand a little.

Why I Chose It
This rigid acrylic paddle from Sportsheets offers some more severe spanking! Anna tested it out for us and found out first hand just how powerful it can be when she tried it out on her partners.
She was “impressed with how much power” she could deliver without too much effort thanks to the cut out holes. She also loved “the sound it makes as it whooshes through air” and that it “resound[s] powerfully” on impact!
Another fun feature is that it can leave behind some small circle imprints, so you can admire your handy work!
She did comment that it didn’t have the most luxurious look but that didn’t detract from the overall experience.
Much like the Tantus Thwack, I would recommend this to those with a bit more spanking and impact play experience.

The non-uniform surface also means that certain parts of the paddle will sting more than others. For this reason, we’d recommend using a regular paddle before upgrading to a paddle with holes.
