In Love With the Look

When I first unboxed the Strict Bondage Harness, I immediately fell in love with how adorable the design is. I am strictly a gold jewelry wearer so when I saw that the hardware was all gold, I wanted to squeal. The decorative bows add a playful, feminine touch that sets it apart from more utilitarian bondage wear. The faux leather felt smooth and looked high-quality, and the metal rings and buckles appeared sturdy and durable. As someone who appreciates both form and function in my accessories, I was eager to see how this harness would perform in practice, and I was not disappointed. When putting on the harness for the first time, I found it to be really simple. The waist and thigh straps are easy to get on by yourself, but if you’re going to be using the wrist cuffs, you’ll definitely need an extra set of hands (pun fully intended). Once it was on, I felt secure, comfortable, and cute. I love wearing body harnesses like this (without the wrist cuffs) to concerts and music festivals during the summer, so I immediately knew this was staying in my collection. It looks so cute over a pair of shorts and obviously looks even better with nothing else on. My partner definitely enjoyed the look as much as I did. The faux leather is soft and comfortable for a pretty good amount of time, but if you want something to wear for really extended sessions, it might get a little uncomfortable rubbing up against your skin.

Sizing dilemma

Overall, it's a fashionable and aesthetically pleasing piece that enhances the bondage experience and feels built to last for years to come.

This harness was easy for me to put on, but those first starting out or those who have mobility issues may have a small learning curve for initial setup and adjustment. I think anyone brand new to harnesses and restraints might want a little assistance getting it on for the first time. Once secured, it generally stays in place during play unless you have the straps too loose. The adjustable straps help to accommodate different body types, enhancing versatility, but potential discomfort from tight straps could affect prolonged use, especially for those with sensitivity concerns.

Quality

This harness does feel very quality with its sturdy construction and durable materials. It feels reliable during use, securely restraining without the risk of something breaking or coming loose. The stitching is smooth, the buckles feel secure and hold firm under pressure, and the leather shows no signs of ware or fraying. Even when tugging pretty hard against the wrist cuffs, I felt completely secure, and the materials showed no signs that it had been under pressure.

The Strict Bondage Harness is absolutely affordable. For under $100, you get a well-crafted product made from quality vegan PU leather and nickel-free metal components that feel like they’ll last for years. Even with the minor sizing issues, it is made to fit a good range of body shapes and sizes. There are no extras in the box and no storage but for me, this is like an article of clothing; your lingerie set wouldn’t come with any extras, and it would probably be more expensive. I absolutely think the price is justifiable.

Performance

The Strict Bondage Harness did live up to my expectations. It’s cute, comfortable, durable, high quality, and versatile. I enjoy wearing it, my partner loves when I wear it, and it doesn’t just have to be for kink play, it can be worn over normal clothing as an accessory. After really prolonged use, I could see it becoming uncomfortable, but I think that’s common with any leather you’re wearing on your body. The bows are so adorable and make me feel like a little present to be unwrapped!

Packaging

The packaging is pretty standard to a lot of other bondage type products. The front of the box has an image of the harness being worn from front and back angles and the sides of the box feature some more images of it being worn. It gives a brief overview of the size and some of the specifications. The packaging definitely captures attention but I wish it was a little less basic.

Materials and care

The materials vegan PU leather and nickel-free metal are fully body-safe and non-porous, which is crucial for hygiene during intimate use. The harness feels sturdy yet lightweight, showing the quality craftsmanship. PU leather is typically water resistant, so it's safe to clean with mild soap and water. It doesn't come with a storage bag or box, which could be a drawback for keeping it discreetly stored between uses. Overall, it's a well-made product with easy maintenance requirements.
