Tantus Anaconda Review
My Verdict
My main point of critique of the Tantus Anaconda is the grippy texture that the silicone has. It's not super pleasant during longer sessions of thrusting and ideally the insertable bit would be smooth. Luckily, I found out that using it with a condom fixed this issue. Other than that, I actually really enjoyed the Tantus Anaconda. It looked a bit scary in the beginning but the girth and the firmness felt surprisingly good. Of course, the handle makes it stand out. It's such a practical feature that makes the dildo look more intimidating (in a good way) and much easier to wield!
Buy, if you...
- struggle with gripping the base of regular dildos during solo play
- enjoy a realistic design
- love girthy, firm dildos
Don't buy, if you...
- try to avoid silicone with too much of a grippy, sanded texture
- are a complete beginner
- prefer non-anatomical designs
About The Tantus Anaconda
The Tantus Anaconda is a firm silicone dildo with an ergonomic handle. Finger ridges and grippy silicone make for a comfortable grip as you thrust and pump the dildo with ease. The shaft itself has a realistic design with very prominent features for added stimulation during penetration.
Pros
- ✅Thick girth and pronounced head is great for g-spot stimulation
- ✅The handle makes thrusting so much more comfortable
- ✅The design features very realistic details
Cons
- ❌The shaft itself has a grippy texture that easily causes friction
- ❌May be too firm for some

Personal Experience
Large and in Charge
The Tantus Anaconda is the largest of the three dildos with a handles that I’ve reviewed alongside each other. The Tantus Goddess Handle and the Tantus Echo Handle are both slimmer dildos with smoother textures and non-anatomical designs. The Anaconda is their opposite, their challenger, their scary older brother who has some issues with authority, or something like that… I don’t know, I’m just going off of vibes here. Anyway, I actually really liked the size of the Anaconda (and yes, I have to admit, I have become something of a size queen…)! Apart from the grippy texture, I really enjoyed using it and having my partner use it on me. While I’m not a big fan of the realistic design, I do like how intimidating it can look at times. This just adds something *spicy* to the psychological element of having my partner use it one me.Can You Handle It?
I hereby declare dildos with handles to be an elite type of sex toy! They are incredibly underrated. Seriously, suction cup dildos get all the glory! For those who don’t actually tend to use the suction cup base of regular dildo and prefer manual thrusting over riding and grinding, this is such a game-changer. I sometimes struggle with my hands or arms getting tired from reach down and gripping a flat base tightly for longer periods of time. The handle really makes it so much easier! Even if you don’t usually struggle with that, this handle will just give you such a comfortable grip that you won’t even want to clasp your fingers around a flat dildo base again!Design
I'm not a big fan of the realism. Even though I enjoy the sensation of that pronounced head, the look of that glans and the veins doesn't really do it for me personally. That said, the details are quite impressive so it'll be great for someone who prefers this type of design. The "foreskin wrinkles" around the glans are very prominent and a bit hard to clean in between though. However, the girth is great and the wide head puts great pressure on the g-spot.
Ease of Use
The Tantus Anaconda is definitely not for beginners! Although for intermediate and experienced users, this dildo is pretty straightforward to use. The grippy texture on the shaft itself isn't the best and creates some unnecessary friction during longer sessions. On the plus side, the handle makes thrusting SO easy. You get better control over the angle, depth, and speed while your hand gets a comfortable grip.
Quality
The Tantus Anaconda is a great quality construction. It's made of good materials and will last you a lifetime with the proper care. BUT for something so well-made, I would expect less texture on the shaft. Of course, the texture is a nice touch for more rough BDSM-play where the point may be to overwhelm your partner with penetration. But I definitely would prefer a dildo that didn't just cater to that particular scenario. Versatility is key in my book!
Price
I think the Tantus Anaconda is sold at a good price. It's reasonably a little bit more expensive compared to the other two because they're smaller. For something that's so long-lasting and sizeable, it's a fair price tag.
Performance
In terms of girth and shape, I preferred the Tantus Anaconda over the Tantus Goddess Handle and Tantus Echo Handle. The girth and firmess put just the right amount of pressure on my g-spot and it resulted in stronger, more intense orgasms. Still, it's not my favorite overall of those three dildos with handles because of the grippy texture on the shaft. Although, using it with a condom was amazing! Ideally, that wouldn't be necessary, though.
Packaging
The packaging is fairly simple, just like all other Tantus products. The Tantus Anaconda came in a hard plastic case that displays the dildo itself. The cardboard lining provides a bit of information about the dildo itself, the materials, and cleaning instructions.
Materials and care
The Tantus Anaconda is made of Tantus's formula of ultra-premium silicone. It's incredibly durable and long-lasting. Tantus also claims that it'll last a lifetime with very little maintenance required. Clean it in between uses with warm water and a mild, unscented soap. For a more thorough cleaning and full sterilization, you can boil it, bleach it, or throw it in the dishwasher.
Special feature
The special feature that the Tantus Anaconda gets to boast about is definitely the handle. First of all, it automatically increases the insertable length and allows you to push yourself (or your partner) to the limit. Secondly, the increased control you have over each and every movement and angle really changes the game. Lastly, it’s super comfortable to use on your own or on someone else. You can go for much longer and enjoy more power in every stroke with less effort. Oh, and the length makes it look a lot more intimidating than it would with a flat base!
