My Verdict
This is a great beginner strap-on kit for anal or vaginal insertion. For givers, it fits quite a range of hip sizes and allows control without coming loose. For receivers, it has reasonably-sized and über-smooth dildos which can ease any apprehension and yet still provide decent vaginal and anal stimulation. The vibrator itself is durable, but I found that it distracted more than added to our play.

About The Tantus Bend Over Beginner Kit
This strap-on kit includes a simple fabric harness that seems durable, stable, and is super adjustable and washable. There's a built-in vibrator pocket and O-ring. You also get a waterproof bullet vibrator, which is a nice portable and holdable size, yet not too tiny to lose. It comes with batteries, too! I've used it a few times and haven't had to change the stock batteries yet. Lastly, you'll get two Tantus Silk silicone dildos — a small and a medium size.

Personal Experience
This review takes a different approach than most – a vaginal one. My partner had a radical hysterectomy for cervical cancer, and after healing, she was very nervous about being penetrated by anything larger than a finger. Enter this Tantus Strap On kit – literally.
The Dildos
Both of the Tantus Silk dildos are super smooth and truly live up to their name! They both have a slight curve which is good for helping the receptive partner moan the alphabet from G-spot to P-spot. We negotiated starting with the Medium Dildo, since the small would be not more exciting than my fingers. The length was more than my partner could handle for her first deep penetration, but since it was smaller than most dildos, it was easy to back off and find ways to please her without the pain. While the medium is still a smaller diameter than the medical dilator she was given by her surgeon, the soft silicone was more enjoyable for her than the hard plastic.The Harness
The harness is a basic strap that can accommodate a wide range of sizes. I’m 5’1” and 185 lbs and there was more strap left to go bigger. My partner can wear it as well and she is more petite. The harness did not loosen at all while thrusting and the dildo stayed securely in place. Also, the harness didn’t chafe as I expected it might. For the price point, it’s a good harness. However, the velvet/satin pocket that holds the vibrator kept sliding down and was more distracting than exciting for either of us.The Vibe
The little vibrator comes with a battery and feels like a cheap plastic cover, but has a decently strong buzz and has proven durable. Before we put the kit together, we tested the vibrator in our pants. I suspect our boxer puppy thought there was a bee in my partner’s pants because the puppy literally punched my partner’s mons. On another occasion, we also experimented with the vibrator for a long, slow tease on my clit which was fun. It is lightweight for a giver to hold, and smooth edged with a buzz at the tip for the recipient. I’m generally a deep rumble, magic wand kinda girl, and while this did not have that much power, it did have an appealing lower frequency buzz compared with many small bullet vibrators. This was definitely a good “re-entry” kit for a vagina-haver recovering from surgery. Based on countless other reviews, it will be a good toy for use with future male partners as well. I have been spoiled from using a soft leather harness for years, and by comparison this kit is not luxurious. It is basic with some key upgrades. The dildos feel really high quality. The harness, on the other hand, is not soft and has rough edges at all the seams. Honestly, it reminds me of a cheap fanny pack strap except that it actually stays adjusted while in use unlike fanny pack straps that loosen. Surprisingly, I did not feel the seam edges while wearing it, probably since the harness stays in place. I wish the vibrator pouch was stabilized more, though the soft texture of it was nice.
Ease of Use
Overall this is easy to use, but the harness was a little confusing to put on at first considering there is a LOT of strap. Because the pocket is a different color than the harness, and has an obvious direction, it was a little easier to put on than my single color harness. I will probably trim the excess straps down in the future. However, I like having the size range in case I gain weight or I want to allow a larger-bodied penis-having partner use it on me for DP (not tried, yet, but I sure will try it!).
Quality
The dildos feel luxurious compared with most beginner butt products. The strap is sturdy but I would love smoother seams, as I worry they are going to chafe eventually or after long use. I would also love if Tantus could make the vibrator pocket more secure. The vibrator itself felt cheap on the outside but stood up to accidental machine washing, so I'm happy. The vibrations are also decent quality.
Price
The Bend Over kit is definitely worth the price for first-time and ongoing use. The odds are very good that the giver will be comfortable wearing it and the receiver will enjoy the ride. I'm pretty sure the harness will keep its shape for a long time to come.
Performance
The "Tantus Bend Over Beginner" kit has everything you need to get started with giving or receiving strap-on play, except lube. Online shopping seems to make choosing any purchases harder these days with so many options and varying reviews, so this is a great solution to get you started in partner anal play ASAP. Make sure you use water-based lube to prevent eroding the silicone toys, my favorite brands are Uberlube and sliquid. The vibrator didn't really do anything for either of us when used as intended in the harness pouch, but lasts a long time without overheating with some additional clit play.
Packaging
I love that the package is clear and well laid out to present and protect everything the kit comes with. It is like opening a holiday present and then putting all the parts together to play with them. I dislike how much non-recyclable plastic the packaging uses, however.
Materials and care
I wish this kit came with it's own storage bag/box given that there are multiple pieces. However, it all easily fits in a ziplock bag after cleaning. The silicone Tantus uses is really really lovely, they have their own proprietary formula for their "100% Ultra-Premium Silicone". The dildos are not heavy at all, and can be cleaned through boiling or put in the dishwasher. The vibrator is more durable than it appears. Tantus advertises it as waterproof, and I accidentally washed it in my pants pocket after it went on a field trip with me. I’d have to agree with their claim – it still works! The harness can be handwashed or you can throw it in a mesh lingerie bag and put it in the washer — easy peasy. I hung it up to dry.
