My Verdict
As a sex toy egg-spert, I'm really happy to see a sex toy advent calendar for penis owners as the market has a lot of options for vulva owner and couples. I think this would be a lovely gift for yourself or a partner for you to explore together. My partner really enjoyed the fun these eggs added to handjobs. Our biggest complaint was that it's a lot of single use toys that also come packaged in a lot of plastic. I would love to see Tenga develop a more climate-friendly version next year!

Merry Eggs-Mas
I had a cracking time opening all the doors and revealing the different eggs. I have to say Tenga have really nailed the fun design with their different Tenga Eggs! I really like that they’ve gone for a traditional advent calendar design — it’s fun and playful and on brand for Tenga!Are They All They’re Cracked Up To Be?
Unfortunately, I do not have the appropriate equipment for actually testing out this egg-cellent calendar so I enlisted the helpful of my penis owning partner for this review! Considering I had to get this review out in a timely manner, we didn’t quite get round to testing all 24 eggs — I didn’t want to leave him completely scrambled! However, I picked out one of the regular eggs and one of the hard boiled range to see if he could feel the difference and which one he preferred. He actually enjoyed both quite a lot and we had fun experimenting with stretching it out to stimulate the whole shaft and using it to stimulate just the head. He reported that the hard boiled egg was noticeably tighter and more intense but the texture in the regular egg was more distinguishable and more enjoyable. I also enjoyed using them on him and felt it added a little something to spice up a handjob. I really liked how much it could stretch and how easily it moved over the shaft. The lube also lasted well and we didn’t need to add any more during the session, which I was a bit surprised about.Our Ova-All Thoughts
In our debrief session, we both agreed that they are pretty fun and easy to just grab and go. However, our main complaint is the incredibly high waste to wank ratio. Each egg comes in a plastic egg case with a plastic insert and individual sachets of lube. I feel like they could easily cut down on this by making one of the gifts a bottle of lube, their Egg Lube would have been perfect, and replacing the plastic inserts with a cardboard one instead.Design
Lookswise the Tenga Calendar would get 100/100 from me. It's cute, it's fun, and it's festive! However, I have to knock points off for just how much single use plastic is in it! Each egg has a plastic case, a plastic insert and the egg itself is disposable. Plus, the insert inside the calendar is made of styrofoam, which is crazy! I'm all for pleasure but let's make it more planet-friendly! It's also a little odd that there's a small picture of a Tenga Cup on the front of the calendar when you don't actually get a Tenga Cup inside. I think it would have been really nice to have a higher value, more exciting gift on the 24th as you get with a lot of other calendars.
Ease of Use
Tenga Eggs are super easy to use! Just lube up, slide it over the shaft and you are good to go! I will say, it's a little tricky getting the lube in the hole. If you can try to rip the corner off the sachet of lube so you are pouring from a smaller opening and it's much easier.
Quality
Overall, I feel like the eggs are fairly good quality. We stretched them out quite a bit and they didn't rip or break. Each egg has a totally different pattern inside, and I really like that the wrapper shows the pattern. It's also really nice that you get to experience the different Tenga Egg ranges, including the Standard Eggs, Wonder Eggs, Hard Boiled (more intense), the Keith Haring collaboration and one that comes with cooling lubricant.
Price
Considering a pack of 6 Tenga Eggs goes for $36, at $99, the calendar does offer some great savings and it's definitely a fun way to spice up December! That being said, it really depends on whether you enjoy a Tenga Egg enough to want 24 of them! You could see it as a challenge for December or maybe have a little stockpile to take into the new year!
Performance
I was surprised by how much my boyfriend enjoyed the me using the Tenga Eggs on him! He's tried a fair few masturbator toys, including some pretty high-end, highly stimulating ones, like the Kiiroo Keon and Tenga Flip Zero but he still had a great little session with these stretchy eggs! He did say they might not be his first choice, especially for solo play but it was a fun and felt great having it used on him. Unfortunately, he didn't get the joy of opening it day by day but I'm sure he would have loved opening each window to reveal a new little egg!
Packaging
I think the outer box of the Tenga Calendar has a lovely design! It's fun that they've gone for a more traditional advent calendar design that something super sexy. I think it's very in line with Tenga's more playful approach to sex toy design. It also has the perforated window design you get in the traditional chocoloate calendars.
Materials and care
The stretchy Tenga Eggs are made of TPE, which is what most strokers are made of, although these are a lot thinner as they are only single use. I was surprised by just how stretchy they are though! Each egg also comes with Tenga's water-based lube. The eggs come inside a plastic egg case, which is pretty wasteful, so I recommend saving them and using them to make your own advent calendar — you could fill them with little gifts, notes to your partner, or even vouchers for sexy activities!
