The Uberrime Astra Hippolyta is a silicone dildo with a beautiful design! The poured pattern almost resembles a snakeskin, and has a gorgeous glittery effect for a stunning shine in the right light. The silicone is smooth and firm, making it feel even greater during play. The flared base could possibly be used in a strap-on device if you have one that fits. The only gripe I have with the Uberrime Astra Hippolyta is that it does not have a suction cup base.

First Impressions
My first impression of the Uberrime Astra Hippolyta was seeing how beautiful it was! It looks like hand-poured silicone from the minor flaws in the design, but it isn’t obvious enough to really stand out. I was a little disappointed to see it came only in a plastic ziploc type bag, but that can be forgiven with the beauty of the the thing!Personal Experience
My personal experience with the Uberrime Astra Hippolyta was definitely a great one! It doesn’t have a suction cup base, so I wasn’t able to stick it to a surface for hands free play, but that didn’t ruin the experience at all. You will need some lubricant to use the Uberrime Astra Hippolyta, and please make sure you only use water-based lubricant for this toy! During use, you can feel how firm and smooth the silicone is. The tip was perfectly angled to hit the G-spot, and boy was it amazing!! I highly recommend the Uberrime Astra Hippolyta for solo play, just for the angled tip alone!Design

The Uberrime Astra Hippolyta is made with fabulous quality! There are no flaws that you can physically feel, but there are a few visual flaws in the pour. But with the pattern of the design, you really can't tell without looking very closely. The silicone is very sturdy, smooth, and firm feeling.
Price
The Uberrime Astra Hippolyta is listed for 93$ on the supplier's website. For what you get, I'd say it's a little bit on the expensive side. When it gets shipped to you, you only receive the dildo in the ziploc style bag, no other things included. But for the toy itself, both feeling and looking fantastic, you won't regret the purchase if you do choose to spend that money!

Packaging
The Uberrime Astra Hippolyta came in just a simple ziploc style baggie. The only indication of what comes in the bag are a few stickers on the bag itself. I'm not a fan of the packaging with my personal vendetta against plastic waste, but for those who like a simple, right to the point packing, it's nice! The sticker on the back doesn't give you any tips on how to use your Uberrime Astra Hippolyta, but it does give you cleaning instructions and lubricant recommendations, which is always a great thing!
Materials and care
The Uberrime Astra Hippolyta is made of body-safe, platinum-cured silicone. It's non-porous and easy to clean! It is a little bit heavy, but sturdy! The Uberrime Astra Hippolyta is waterproof, so great for a fun night in the tub if you choose! The recommended cleaning method on the sticker suggests using soap and water, on the top rack of your dishwasher with NO detergent, or boiling water and air drying. I personally like using some hot water and an unscented antibacterial soap, and then air dry for next time.
