Ya Like Scissoring?
I love Uberrime (Uber-ree-may, the Latin word for luxury), especially their fantasy toys. While I wish this grinder was a little more unique in its design, it’s still super cute and well-made! With the Uberrime LaBae being an accurate-looking vulva, using it feels like I’m scissoring someone without the awkwardness of the right angles on another person’s body. I appreciate that! I think it’s a stimulating, pleasurable experience even though I feel like I’d benefit more from a more uniquely textured grinder.The Heart’s Hard Work
The Uberrime LaBae is a compact grinder made of squishy silicone, which is a pro and a con! This means that the grinder is best to use with a pillow under it to bring it up to your pelvis rather than digging your hips down into it. It’s also better with lube, while the silicone is soft it does mean there’s a good bit of friction when using it dry. If you’re like me and prefer vibration with your grinding sessions, you can use the Uberrime LaBae with other toys! Since the silicone is thick, I’d recommend using strong wands like the Dame Com or the Lovense Domi 2 with the Uberrime LaBae Grinder as if it were an attachment head! Albeit the LaBae grinder is a little more awkward than an attachment head, it’s still very usable and pleasurable!Additional Notes of Praise
As a trans person with an enlarged clit, it’s so nice to see a toy that looks like my own bits. Uberrime even has packers for ftm and gender non-conforming folks without penises, which I love to see from toy companies, especially since they have fantasy designs too! I feel seen and appreciated when I shop on the Uberrime website. I also want to mention that Uberrime advertises an alternative use for The LaBae as a stress/sensory squishy toy, because it really is that soft! I just think that that’s fun, because as someone with three boob squishy stress toys, I love the idea of having a vulva squish toy to add to the collection. Ultimately, the Uberrime LaBae grinder is an affordable, fun, super cute grinding toy that I recommend to folks across all levels of experience!Design
The design of the Uberrime LaBae is beautiful, from its colors to its heart shape. I personally love the design, and it works well for grinding on! The silicone is soft and luxurious, which is surprising for an affordable toy! This grinder is super cute and well-shaped for looks and for usability. While I love its compact size, it does mean that finding the right angle for grinding can take some trial and error, which is the only reason why the Labae doesn't get a perfect design rating!
Ease of Use
The Uberrime LaBae is a very easy to use toy as all you need is a surface to lay it on to grind against or holding it against your body yourself or with the help of a partner. For some with hand-mobility issues, you have those additional options for getting the most out of your toy. You can even use it in tandem with other toys, like vibrators and dildos, for additional pleasure.
Quality
Uberrime makes great quality toys, and the LaBae hits the mark! It's a reliable and sturdy toy, flexible enough to squishy like a stress ball and firm enough to grind on for stimulation. I love my Uberrime LaBae, its soft body-safe silicone, and the well-designed shape that's meant to last you a long time. Personally, I did see that there was some left-over silicone along the edges of the base of the toy and wish they'd been trimmed for appearances sake, but that doesn't affect the toys overall quality much at all.
Price
The price of the Uberrime LaBae is similar to other grinding toys on the market, if not more affordable. Uberrime seems to make their toys great quality and cheaper for their audience, making it a much more accessible toy brand than its competitors. I don't always get a lot of stimulation out of grinding toys, so to me it isn't the cheapest out there, but for those who love grinding toys then this is a great price point!
Performance
Oh boy did the Uberrime LaBae perform! I haven't gained a lot of stimulation from grinding toys in the past, but was pleasantly surprised with the LaBae. The lips are well-sculpted and shaped to get the most out of them, especially for folks who have enlarged clitorises themselves. It's kind of like scissoring without the awkward angles! Though the silicone is thick, using a wand in tandem with it leads to a fun vibration grind-sesh for those who like that.
Packaging
I love how affordable Uberrime's toys are, how great of a quality they are, and I understand why the packing is minimalistic. However, it doesn't stop me from being a bit disappointed by the Uberrime LaBae arriving in a plastic bag with labels on it. The labels are informative on Uberrime and cleaning your new LaBae, which is great, but I wish there was a little more put towards the presentation. A toy bag or a small booklet or some stickers would be a nice touch! But maybe that's just me being picky.

The Uberrime LaBae is made of body-safe platinum silicone. It is a lightweight toy that comes in two different densities to choose from. This grinder is high quality and, as it is only made of silicone, is totally waterproof! For storage, there is not toy bag that comes with the LaBae, so you may want to find a spare toy bag or keep it in a place where it won't get too dirty or linty. Thankfully it is easy to clean with warm water and mild soap, and you can even drop it into boiling water to sterilize it!
