Personal Experience

As someone who relies a lot on clitoral stimulation but doesn’t always enjoy using handheld vibrators during penetration (I’m too lazy, and I find it distracting), I was super excited to try the We-Vibe Chorus. I have tried all kinds of vibrating penis rings, but they never quite live up to the expectations — either they move around, aren’t strong enough, or have wrongly placed buttons. The We-Vibe chorus solves all these problems and then some!

The good, the bad, and the rumbly

Design

I love everything about the design of the We-Vibe Chorus. The soft, curved design of both the remote and the device feels very luxurious and inviting. The soft, squidgy remote feels fantastic to hold and has the added squeeze control function, which feels pretty responsive. I like that the design is very minimal, aside from a raised logo, and I also love that the charging case has a minimal design that can sit on my bedside table charging discreetly. The We-vibe Chorus is available in three didn't colors: purple, hot pink, and baby blue, so there's something for most aesthetics.

Ease of Use

So the We-Vibe Chorus and remote control are super easy to use, and the squeeze function in the remote is a fun way to get a little power boost when you need it without having to fiddle around with buttons. Charging is also made very easy with the charging case. There is a flashing light on the front that lets you know when the device is charging and when it is charged. The app on the other hand, is a bit of a headache. Even when you do get it set up, it is temperamental. Top marks for the device and remote, but the app leaves a lot to be desired. I was really excited by the vibe to music function, mostly for the novelty - so many genres to explore, but I couldn't get that to work.

Quality

The hardware of the We-Vibe Chorus feels extremely well made. The silicone is high-quality and very thick and soft, making it very comfortable to wear. I was also impressed by the volume — for something that produces some pretty strong and rumbly vibrations, it was pretty quiet, especially once it was inserted. Also, the adjustable joints feel sturdy and stay in place well, meaning you have a lot more control over where the clitoral stimulator sits. The app is the only thing that lets the side down in terms of quality.

Price

If the app worked as seamlessly as it should, the We-Vibe Chorus would be worth every penny. The vibrator itself is one of the best couple's sex toys I have ever tried. However, without the app, you lose a lot of functionality and value. As fun as it would be, I can live without the vibe to music function (although it would add a whole new dimension to karaoke), but not being able to use the long-distance function reliably is a little disappointing considering the price. I do think that the charging case is worth paying a little extra for (compared to a storage pouch), as you can charge/store the device discreetly, you are less likely to accidentally disconnect the magnetic charging points, and it keeps the remote safe.

Performance

I won't say any more about the app and will instead focus on the vibrator and remote. The vibrations in the We-Vibe Chorus are wonderfully deep and rumbly in all the right ways. After being so impressed feeling the different settings in my hand, I was pretty excited to try it out. The dual motors mean that you get some powerful stimulation in both the internal and external stimulators, which is also great for the penetrating partner. The vibrations also resonate really well throughout the whole device, meaning you can feel the vibrations in the whole upper area of the vulva. There are two points where you can adjust the We-Vibe Chorus to get the best fit, and these stay in place well when in use. The remote works well, and for the most part, the squeeze function is responsive, although there are times where it takes a few tries.

Packaging

The We-Vibe Chorus comes in a magnetic closure box with a gold embossed image on the cover. The overall design is clean, fresh, and luxurious. I really appreciate well-designed packing as I enjoy the whole process of getting a product as it adds to the excitement and anticipation of using the product itself. The device is nicely presented in the box, and there are some simple pictographic instructions to help you get started. There is a very basic set of instructions included in the box, but it is easy enough to find the full manual on the We-Vibe website. I would have liked more detailed instructions about using the app, although I now know that isn't the main issue.

Materials and care

Both the remote control and the vibrator are covered in high-quality silicone that feels lovely against your body, which is especially important when using this for PIV (penis in vagina) intercourse. The vibrator is completely waterproof, making it easy to clean with some fragrance-free soap and water. The remote, however, is only splashproof, so it cannot be immersed in water and must be wiped clean. Once clean, the Chorus slots back into its charging case, which keeps it clean until the next round. The solid case does a better job than a fabric pouch of keeping any dust away.

Special feature

There are two stand-out features, the first being the charging case, which feels like a whole step above the usual fabric pouch. The We-Vibe Chorus sits in a slot inside the case and charges via a magnetic connection, and there’s also a handy slot for the remote, so you aren’t in danger of losing it between sessions. The second is the squeeze control function that allows you to change the vibration mode by squeezing the wonderfully tactile remote, which feels very intuitive to use. While there are other features, such as the app-based functions, they don’t work reliably enough.
