My Verdict

The ZALO Queen Set can do a lot of things. Sure, it wasn’t the best G-Spot vibrator or suction stimulator I’ve ever tried, but just the fact that it could do both of them, let alone really well, is a stroke of genius. Plus, when you consider the price of the typical (or even budget) suction toy and G-Spot vibe, you’ll quickly realize how great a deal the Queen Set actually is. The biggest disappointments here are the ZALO Remote App (which I’d still like to believe they’ll update, but after 3 years I’m starting to lose hope) and the lack of waterproofing, but for my own personal use they have been minor. Overall, this is definitely the toy to buy if you’re looking to save by spending big on one core product now, rather than more over time on multiple. Plus, with a versatile design and luxurious appearance, the ZALO Queen Set also makes the perfect gift.

About The ZALO Queen Set

Winner of multiple awards, the ZALO Queen Set is the luxury brand's first attempt at pairing g-spot vibrations with suction stimulation for the clitoris using their innovative new PulseWave technology. Part of the Egyptian inspired Legend Series, there’s not much this toy can’t offer. With a sleek curved shaft, dual motors provide both vibrations and pulsation for enhanced g-spot play, whilst the included silicone sleeve instantly transforms it into a suction toy for clitoral pleasure too. A pre-heating function also works to simulate the human body temperature, whilst the ZALO Remote app allows for your partner to take control. Plus, with a gorgeous design and 16 vibration modes, the Queen features almost everything you’d expect from a luxury vibrator, being USB rechargeable and 100% body-safe, with the exception of being waterproof.

Personal Experience

My Personal Experiences with ZALO Queen Set

First Impressions

ZALO’s products are some of the most innovative and extravagant toys on the market, but their tendency to jam in as many features as possible is usually their downfall. So while the Queen Set fit right in, I was hoping for a more refined experience than with some of the other toys in their Legend Series. While most of what the Queen offered was familiar to me, it was the new PulseWave technology that had me most intrigued. Located in the center of the tip’s radiating circles, the small bead here is then able to pulsate in and out of the toy to provide a tapping sensation, a type of stimulation I’d previously only tried externally.

Trying It Out

Inserting the toy is easy due to its slim shape, and the slight curve matched with a rigid shaft allows it to quickly find my g-spot. I could happily use it this way without even turning on the vibrations, to be honest, but when I do things get even better. Sadly, however, despite offering a whopping 16 modes (8 for each motor), only two steady speeds are provided, and as someone who doesn’t enjoy patterns this was a real let down. Plus, this combined with the overall buzziness of the vibrations, makes this, whilst still pleasurable, not one of the best internal vibrators I’ve tried. As for the PulseWave function, unfortunately I haven’t enjoyed this one bit. Rather, I find it immensely uncomfortable, and kind of like an unpleasant itch you just can’t scratch. Instead, I’ve taken to using it directly on my clitoris, which I actually really enjoy, even more so than the vibrations in fact.

Using The Sleeve

Transforming the toy into a suction stimulator is super quick and easy, as the silicone sleeve just slides over the shaft. This works incredibly well, and while it is not the most intense clitoral suction I’ve ever felt, it is still absolutely enough to give me some stellar orgasms. As for using the vibrations at the same time, this isn’t as effective, with the motor simply being too far back in the toy to make much of an impact.

ZALO Remote App

I first reviewed the ZALO Remote back in March 2019 and named it as one of the worst sex toy phone applications available, so you can imagine my surprise upon downloading it again all these years later and finding that it is exactly the same. Extremely basic in design and full of bugs, the app fails to provide effective control of the toy. I’m not able to use the two motors individually, as the instructions state you can, nor can I control them outside of their preset patterns to allow for more flexibility than the buttons offer (you can, at least, adjust the speeds of these). What’s more, the ZALO Remote doesn’t provide one of the core features of other popular sex toy apps, which is long distance play through internet connectivity.

Design

ZALO Queen Set Design

As with all of ZALO’s products, the Queen is of exceptional design, with a Cleopatra-inspired appearance that is both regal and elegant, words not often used to describe a vibrator. Coming in your choice of Jewel Green, Wine Red, or Twilight Purple, ridges are used to full effect around the Queen’s handle, whilst a gold snake-like band ending in a SWAROVSKI crystal further adds to the sense of luxury. Moving down, the slender shaft then curves slightly for enhanced G-Spot play, before ending in a flat tip featuring circular ridges and a hollow center, which is where the PulseWave occurs. When applied, the matching silicone sleeve only enhances the design, with its edges helping to emphasize the detailing on the handle.

Ease of Use

ZALO Queen Set Ease of Use

ZALO provides two methods of controlling the Queen, the app (described above) and two buttons which are hidden on either side of the gold band. Pressing the button closest to the insertable end will place the toy into stand-by mode, which is needed when connecting the toy to the app or using the heating function, and you can cycle through the toy’s pulsations by continuing to press this. The other button will then activate the vibrations, with the two motors able to be used separately or together. Finally, to turn the toy off, just hold down the original button for three seconds. This all functions smoothly, so the biggest challenge is remembering which button does what (and where they are!).

Quality

ZALO Queen Set Quality

The Queen Set features the same exceptional quality I’ve come to expect from ZALO, using high quality materials and advanced features. The only real flaws are the seams that run around the length of the silicone, however these are very faint and do not affect use. Additionally, the metal charging prongs on the back are quite sharp, and while these are too far up to be inserted, they can make holding the toy more difficult.

Price

ZALO Queen Set Price

Being a luxury product, there’s no denying that the ZALO Queen Set is on the pricier side of things. But for an award-winning vibrator from a high-end brand, it is about standard, and that’s before you even begin to consider all of the Queen’s additional features, such as its suction sleeve, app-compatibility and heating function. Purchasing the Queen without its silicone attachment does significantly reduce the price, which may be good if you have no interest in the suction sensation this element provides, but I think it’s worth the extra cost.

Performance

ZALO Queen Set Performance

A full charge of the Queen will give you up to two hours of use, which is excellent. It then performs well without any issues, and despite its dual motors it is actually surprisingly quiet. Even when combined, the two vibration styles only give off a small amount of noise (which gets even quieter when fully inserted), and so while someone in the same room as you could certainly hear it, you should be alright behind closed doors.

Packaging

ZALO Queen Set Packaging

ZALO’s packaging is some of the best there is, and the Queen Set is no different. Taking inspiration from Cleopatra, matte black card helps to emphasize the detailed artwork and writing printed glossy gold ink, whilst clear plastic allows the toy to be seen in all its glory prior to opening. Inside, you’ll then find all accessories stored together in a smaller box, and included is a luxury storage bag, charging cable, detailed instruction manual, warranty card (which feels like a credit card and offers a 1 year warranty alongside a 10 year commitment), two sample packets of ZALO’s water-based lubricant, and the silicone sleeve. Finally, the toy and sleeve both feature safety seals, so you know they haven't been tampered with.

Materials and care

ZALO Queen Set Materials and care

The ZALO Queen is made up of a high-quality silicone, which is both body-safe and non-porous, and then coated in ZALO’s Softek to ensure the surface feels silky smooth. Detailing near the handle of the toy is then comprised of ABS plastic, whilst metal charging prongs rest on the back. Completely firm, the only elements of this toy with any give are the top of the handle and center of the PulseWave plate. In terms of care, the lack of waterproofing on the Queen presents one of its biggest challenges, and so I’d recommend just carefully wiping it down after use. The silicone sleeve, however, may be fully submerged if required. In addition, make sure to not use any silicone-based lubricant with this toy, as it may affect the silicone it is made with.

Special feature

ZALO Queen Set Special feature

The ZALO Queen Set’s special feature has to be its self-heating technology. Controlled by an additional hidden button at the top of the toy’s handle where the ZALO logo is, this can be turned on whenever the Queen is in stand-by mode. A LED indicator under the button will begin to flash slowly during heating, and the temperature will rise quickly until it reaches a maximum of 107° Fahrenheit / 42° Celsius, with a press of any button canceling it. While it’s the middle of summer where I am, making this a little too hot for comfort, I think it’ll be a wonderful addition to the product in winter.

ZALO Queen Set vs. Sohimi Rose Queen

The Sohimi Rose Queen, with its 4.8 overall score and 4.8 Bedbible rating looks like a better alternative to the ZALO Queen Set. Both scored a high design of 90/100, however, the Sohimi Rose Queen earned a higher ease of use score of 100/100 and has a much better quality. On the other hand, the ZALO Queen Set is app-enabled, which gives much more versatility to the couple’s play. Power and vibrations-wise, the Sohimi Rose Queen turns out to be more powerful, rumblier, and much more quieter. When it comes to vibration patterns and suction modes, the ZALO Queen Set has 8 different vibration modes, and 8 suction modes, whereas the Sohimi Rose Queen features 10 vibration modes and 5 suction modes.

ZALO Queen Set vs. Womanizer Duo

The Womanizer Duo is another great alternative for the Womanizer Duo. It’s a dual-action G-spot vibrator with a clitoral suction. It provides simultaneous internal and external stimulation, whereas, with the ZALO Queen Set, you need to choose the desired type of stimulation. Because of the dual design, the Womainizer Duo received a higher score in all categories; its overall score is 4.7/5.0 compared to ZALO’s 4.2 / 5.0, and it received the highest Bedbible rating out of all competitors, reaching 4.9/5.0, compared to ZALO’s 4.0/5.0. When it comes to vibrations and clitoral stimulation, they both received 60/100 on power and sound, however, the Womanizer Duo features much more vibration speeds and patterns and 12 suction modes, compared to ZALO’s 5 modes. On top of that, the Womanizer Duo is fully waterproof and has a longer battery life maintaining the same charging time.

ZALO Queen Set vs. Lovehoney Rose Glow 2-in-1

The Lovehoney Rose Glow 2-in-1 is the best budget-friendly alternative to the Sohimi Rose Queen. Both toys provide G-spot and clitoral stimulation, however, the ZALO Queen Set features a long shaft with a slit sucker on the other side, whereas the Lovehoney Rose Glow has a small love egg with a clit sucker that can be used for dual stimulation. The Lovehoney Rose Glow got a higher score in almost all categories, whilst having a lower price. The Lovehoney Rose Glow was rated 4.5 /5.0 in the overall score and has a Bedbible rating of 4.6/5.0 compared to ZALO’s 4.2/5.0. Power-wise, both toys scored 60/100 points, but the Lovehoney Rose Glow seems to be louder. Also, the ZALO Queen Set is app-enabled, which the Lovehoney Rose Glow lacks.

ZALO Queen Set vs. Womanizer OG

The Womanizer OG is the lowest-rated toy in this comparison, but despite its lower overall score of 3.1 and Bedbible rating of 2.5, shouldn’t be dismissed outright. While its design and ease of use are lower than ZALO’s, it matches ZALO in quality. It’s significantly quieter, too, which could be a decisive factor for some users. The main difference between these two is the type of stimulation. The ZALO Queen Set features a long vibrating shaft for G-spot stimulation and a vibrating/suction head for clitoral pleasure, whereas the Womanizer OG focuses the suction on the G-spot.
